'Ekta's a great storyteller'

Veteran actress Aruna Irani is all set to make an entry in Ekta Kapoor's Parichay—Nayee Zindagi Ke Sapno Ka. The actress is excited about the role not only because of the character she portrays, but also because of the fact that she will be working with television maverick, Ekta Kapoor, who she happens to be very fond of. The two share a special bond that has strengthened over the years. Talking about her new role as Sulekha she says, "When Ekta narrated Sulekha's character to me, I fell in love with the role and agreed to do it. She is a great storyteller. I've been connected with her family because of Jeetuji and I have seen her as a child, growing up with a passion for storytelling. I loved the strong track and her vision for my character. It will form an integral part of the story following the leap and will be responsible for reviving Siddhi's (one of the protagonist's) life."
