Madhubala brings Bollywood to small screen-Colors

Madhubala launched on a grand scale and considering its a story about Bollywood and film stars the show has been epic right fron the start. The main leads Vivian and Drashti, who play the role of RK and Madhu respectively, define their characters perfectly and the show has a very Bollywood feel to it.

This last weekend, the show had its first Super Episode and just like its launch, this episode was grand too! Madhubala was about to be engaged to Mukund but RK makes sure that the engagement gets delayed and consequently Madhu doesn't reach on time. But once there, the ceremony is back on and as Mukund and Madhu were ready to exchange rings, RK makes a special appearance and participates in the occassion.

From there on the episode turns into a film with RK and Trishna's dance performance on Chalka Chalka Re from Saathiya and all the heavy dialogues said by RK to Mukund and Madhu and let's not forget the longing stares shared between Madhu and RK. The filmy moment of the episode was when Madhu falls in the arms of RK, our duo looked complete together and we half-wished for the engagement to stop!

Unlike other serials, Madhubala attempts to bring in a different genre on-screen and with this Weekend Super Episode, the show has just upped a notch. We thoroughly enjoyed the underlying chemistry between RK and Madhu and hope you did too!
