Sony to launch a celebrity-dance show Jha

Sony is all set to bring out the desi version of the popular international show Dancing With The Stars. To be produced by Siddharatha Basu, the show called Jhalak Dikhla Ja will have eight celebrities, all with two left feet participating in a dance contest. Hailing from different walks of life, each of the eight will be paired with expert dancers. The show is scheduled to start in September. The USP of this show is that a cricketer, a chef or a TV anchor will be found shaking a leg to popular film numbers and being judged by a panel of three members besides the viewers.
