Hansa talks with Anandi
Shiv looked at the door and saw his mother looking away from both of them.
He got up immediately and looked at Anandi. She was quickly adjusting herself. During the struggle her dupatta was messed up her hair had become disheveled.
Shiv also quickly patted his shirt unconsciously as if to iron out any wrinkles.
Shiv went towards his mother and opened his mouth to explain the situation when Hansa indicated him to stop and gestured him to leave the room. She seemed quite calm and relaxed.
Shiv looked at his mother and then at Anandi. He noticed that Anandi was not looking at them but was standing in a corner of the room. Without a word he left the room.
Hansa moved forward towards Anandi and then looked at the bag. She then picked it up and placed it on the bed.
Anandi waited to hear Hansa speak but when did not hear anything but silence she looked up and saw that Hansa had opened her bag and started to take out her clothings from it one at a time.
Hansa started to place Anandi's clothing in the closet one by one. Anandi was confused at Hansa's actions. She did not know how to react. She was feeling guilty that Shiv had disrespected his mothers wish. Her heart was pacing hard. She wished that only if she had the powers to vanish, she would do that right now.
Hansa after placing all the clothing noticed that a ghaghra was lying on the floor. Anandi, in hurry, had threw it earlier as it was not fitting in her suitcase.
Anandi saw Hansa bend down to pick up her clothes. She hurriedly ran towards her picked it up before Hansa could bend down.
'Main rakh dungi' she said meekly avoiding Hansa's gaze.
Hansa was looking at Anandi. She understood Anandi's frustration. Shiv had declared his love in front of the entire family and now this.
Hansa took Anandi's hands as she was about to turn away. Anandi looked at her questioningly.
She then took her to the sofa and made her sit down and sat besides her.
Anandi who was still avoiding the gaze of Hansa was starting to feel uneasy.
'Anandi, main maafi chahthi hun' said Hansa politely
Of all the things, an apology was the last thing that Anandi had expected.
She looked at Hansa immediately and gave her a questioning look.
'Shiv thumhay pasand kertha hai, ye main pehlay sey hi janthi thi' she said
Anandi's expression changed from the questioning look to a shocked one but she continued to remain silent.
'Ashima bhi janthi hai' she said
'Lekin thum ye nahi samajhna ki usnay thumhay dhoka diya hai ya fasanay ki koshish ki hai.'Added Hansa immediately after looking at Anandi's accusatory look
'Anandi, main janthi hun ki thumhara atheeth bohot hi dardnaak tha. Aur main ye bilkul bhi thumnay nahi kahungi ko thum apnay atheeth ko bhul jao aur apnay aaj ko sveekaar karo.
Main janthi hun ki ye asaan nahi hai. Isiliye ye nahi sochna ki main thumsey kuch chahthi hun.' Said Hansa
Anandi looked at her confused
'Aaj main Shiv ki maa ki hasiyat sey thumsey baat ker rahi hun. Mera beta shiv bohot hi honar, emandar aur mehanthi ladka hai. Mujhe pata hai ki ye thum bhi janthi ho' Said Hansa
'Aur Shiv ek aisey jeevan sathi ki chah rakhtha hai, jo uskay saath kadam per kadam mila ker chalay.
Uskay kaafi adarsh aur usool hain. Voh chahtha hai ki usey ek
Aisi ladki milay jo uskay adarshon ko samjhay, uski bhavnaon ka qadar karay. Jo na hi uska saath hai balkay uskay kaam main usko badavay day.
Ashima main kafi khoobiyan hain lekin, usmay kamiyan bhi hain. Aur isi vajay sey voh kudh is baat ko janthi bhi hai aur samajhthi bhi hai ki shiv kay saath nibhana uskay liye mumkin nahi.
Usi nay mujhe thumharay baray main sujav diya tha'
Anandi continued to look at Hansa with blank expressions
'Main bhi chahthi hun ki meray betay ka ghar bas jaye. Uskay liye ladkiyan dund dund ker thak gayi hun main. lekin jab maine thumhay dekha aur shiv ki aankhon main thumharay liye pyar dekha, tho main samaj gayi ki thum sahih mayinon main shiv ki saathi ban sakthi ho' Said Hansa
She looked at Anandi who was now looking at the floor
'Anandi, main thumhay fir kehthi hun ki , main yahan sirf shiv ki ma banker aayi hun. Aur ek ma honay nathay meri ek iccha hai, ek chah hai, ki thum Shiv ko apna lo'
' jhoot nahi bolungi. Mujhe thumharay ateeth sey pehlay kafi dikkat hui thi. Gussa bhi aya tha , lekin thum per nahi, shiv per' said Hansa when Anandi had looked at hansa questioningly
'Ki shiv galthi kaise ker gaya. Ek byahtha sey pyar? aur voh bhi jiska talaq ho chukka ho?' Said Hansa painfully
'Sharmindigi hai mujhe is baat sey ki maine meray betay per shaq kiya. Uskay faislay per shaq kiya lekin kal puri baat samnay anay kay baad , koi gunjaaish hi nahi rahi. Shiv nay mera sar faqr sey uncha ker diya hai ki usnay is ghar ke liye, ek aisi bahu dundi hai, jo rishtay nathon ki bakhoobi samaj rakhthi hain.
Ek aisi bahu dundi hai, jo khudh ek misaal hai.' Said Hansa proudly
'Anandi thum ye math sochna ki main thumhari tareef ker rahi hun, kiyunki main chahthi hun ki thumhara aur shiv ki shadi ho jaye, nahi'
balkay mujhe meray betay per naaz hai ki usey heeray aur kaanch main farak kerna atha hai.' Said Hansa
Hansa now turned towards Anandi and held her hands.
'Anandi, thum meri bahu bano, ye meray liye bohot saubhagya ki baat hogi. Faisa thumharay haath main hai. koi zor zabardasti nahi. Thumhara atheeth thumhara hai . Aur thumhay hi ussey ladker agay badna hoga' Said Hansa
'Takleefain, dukh har insaan ko athi hai, kisi ko koi roop main tho kisi ko koi aur. Thumhay bhi aayin, mujhe bhi aayin. Lekin takleefon kay saath uska samadhan bhi saath saath atha hai.
Thumnay ye dekha hoga ki har mushkil kay baad , safaltha kay darwazain khul jathay hain.
use tarah hai ye bhi. Abh ye thum per nirbhar kertha hai ki thum kaise is atheeth sey ladogi aur usey peechay chodogi' Said Hansa
'Han, lekin is baath ki guarantee main dethi hun ki, Shiv, thumhara saath nahi chodega. Jis tarah mujhe pata hai thum uskay kadam per kadam chalnay ki kabiliyat rakhthi ho, usi tarah shiv bhi thumharay saath chalnay ki kabiliyat rakhtha hai' said Hansa
She then looked at Anandi and slowly caressed her hair. She then pulled Anandi's head towards her and kissed it.
'Abh araam karo' Kal subhah thum dono ko meeting per bhi tho jana hai' said hansa smiling
Anandi looked at Hansa and not knowing how to react to her words , she just nodded a little.
Hansa touched her hand once more softly and patted it.
Then she left the room leaving Anandi in thoughts.
