Am glad to see such a sensible epi after God knows how long on this show...the show finally seems to be looking into issues that were supposed to be part of its brief...it was a very pleasant epi and had a dash of romance too...Sharad and Krithika are major assets to this show...they have an effortless chemistry that is working big time in favour of the show...kudos to the two!
Finally, good to see the doctors back in action...have been waiting for long to see how Sharad was going to handle the professional side of the character...he hardly got a chance the previous time round since he was in Devdas mode...seems to be handling it with ease...want to see this side to the character a lot more in the future..
Nidhi was in character through...good to see that her latent professional ambitions are rising to the fore...the sequence with her fellow intern, who is now a resident doctor, was well written...
I did not find anything wrong with Ashutosh's decision not to assign her to anything significant,...she's been completely out of touch for at least a few months now...she herself confessed that she had forgotten how to administer an injection...so how does she even expect to be given a position of significant responsibility...she can't be treated like a fresh intern either since she has long since lost touch with her textbooks too...and, Ashutosh has already exerted his influence to get her back into the hospital overnight...it wouldn't have been so easy for any other intern who was trying to get back after a break...I think it is pointless to talk of why she quit and how Ashutosh was responsible etc...that is over...and it is the here and now that Ashutosh has to factor in while making a decision...and I don't think he really had a choice as an administrator and a responsible surgeon...my only complaint is he should have exercised the same responsibility while recommending a psychotic woman to serve as a doctor in another hospital, while she was fresh from a murder attempt...but well, Mallika is above all logic and all characters shall be sacrificed at the altar of Mallika's greatness...that is the diktat of KP bhaiyyaji after all!
Also, Nidhi's comment on taking time off for the wedding seems to justify Ashutosh's decision...she hardly stepped into the hospital and already, she talks of taking time off, whatever be the reason...!
Overall, the show is progressing in the right track...hope they don't falter again!
