NIce title! I am sure Aarti in a playful way will win Yash's heart!😳

Loved it, loved it all! I am a very happy camper with today's episode. Aarti continues to fight the good fight but with a difference, because of the changed perspective of all those around her. She has won Yash's unconditional trust and respect for her initiative and her tenacity in a pressure situation and he is looking at, thinking of and reacting to her with a new found respect, awe and familiarity. He may not want to give the relationship a name yet he does not deny that it exists...progress? I think so.

One of the big shockers of the episode was Gayatri's heartfelt apology to Aarti. It was not cursory and it did not have even a touch of pride. Gayatri was all remorse for having misunderstood Aarti and not thinking her worthy of Arpita's place in the household because she thought that Aarti had failed to do the one thing that Arpita did with ease: make Yash happy. But slowly and surely, she has come to understand the truth of Aarti's nature, that she may be a fighter but she will always fight for what is right and for the ones she loves. In the privacy of this moment (of course except for Bua) Gayatri once again reiterates her request in a much more dignified manner, asking Aarti to stay by Yash's side always, a request to which Aarti can much more easily acquiesce, putting her MIL's heart to rest.

Buoyed by their success with Aarti, the nosies try to work their "magic" on Yash, who is simply not having any of it. He is much firmer and more intimidating than the adorably confused and flustered Aarti, in his security. He has no qualms praising Aarti to his brothers, saying that any other girl would have panicked when faced with a gun, but Aarti handled it so beautifully. And he is equally strong in denying the name they want to give to this relationship. i find it interesting that he is repeating the same dialogues almost word for word that Aarti spoke before she came around to realising her love. He also showed the care and concern for her physical well-being that she showed when he had a fever and the popinjays were pestering her about being in love.

But I think what was the most prominent thing here was that nowhere did Yash mention Arpita, when questioned about his relationship with Aarti. It is true that he cut Vidhi off when she spoke of love, affirmed that it was only respect that he and Aarti felt for one another, and denied all possibility of love. BUT for the first time, Arpita did not figure in this dialogue and neither did her jagah. That was significant to me.

Prateek and Paridhi's problems continue, but somehwere deep down there is progress happening slowly. Prateek asks the all important question: if it is good enough for Vidhi and Aarti, why not for her? And Paridhi answers it in a most straight forward manner. She gets happiness from her job and feels incomplete without it and she doesn't want to be compared to anyone. Even though Prateek brushes the issue under the rug for the moment, there was a sort of balm in the fact that Paridhi wanted him to go with her to meet her friend. It was an affirmation that she still loves him and wants to show him off, when it seemed like she was ashamed, even to Prateek.

Now to Palak and Aarti. I simply love the way they are choosing to go about this. Stage fright is an issue that encompasses most of Palak's deeper issues, which can be dealt with subliminally as Yash and Aarti deal with this problem literally. I loved that for the first time, they dealt with the problem collaboratively. Aarti noticed Palak's strange behaviour, communicated it to Yash and he filled in the blanks.

Once again, Palak is resentful of being caught in a vulnerable position by Aarti and she takes out her anger the usual way, by trying to push away Aarti, emotionally. Thankfully, gone are the days when Aarti did not understand Palak's anger and her angst and took it to heart. Today she is the adult in the relationship who is going to fix things with Palak, not by treating her as an equal, but by forcing her to confront something that she is afraid of, even if it is not easy for her at first. This is what she has to convince Gayatri and Bua of, allowing them to come out of the cycle of enabling Palak's reclusive behaviour, which only makes her lonelier.

One really sweet loop closure that I noticed was this. We see this trend of Aarti winning as herself, rather than in trying to be Arpita or using Arpita's identity. When I found out about Palak being afraid to talk in front of people, it immediately made me think of the scene when she invited her friends to her birthday and why she was so nervous about it. At that time, she remembered that her mother would be disappointed if she didn't have friends come to her birthday and mustered the courage, in short, Aarti used Arpita to get Palak to overcome her fear. Now Aarti is, apparently with the help of Yash according to the promo, going to help her overcome the fear for herself. In short, mirroring Aarti's own evolution into self love and self confidence.

Though it's not quite as serious as I was concerned it might be, Palak's problem did turn out to be psychological in nature, in terms of the whole thing really being about her stage fright and fear of failure. The whole scenario of Palak feigning illness as an excuse not to go to school is incredibly realistic and I also thought the scene where Aarti confronted her about it was very true to life. Palak's responses to Aarti's gentle probing about her lie reminded me of myself when I was younger and my mom would confront me about something I had done. She couldn't with confidence declare that Aarti was wrong in saying that she lied about her stomach hurting, but Palak didn't want to admit it either. Exactly how I was when I was a child.

Bua lecturing Aarti on how she doesn't care for Palak's pain because she didn't give birth to her is laughable. Who is Bua to lecture anyone on only caring about a child if you are the birth mother since she herself has never given birth, and certainly doesn't care about anyone's pain but her own. Also, she knew full well that Palak was lying about the stomach pain, else why would she offer sweets to a girl who proclaims to be sick. If that had been me trying to pass that lie off to my mom, she would have said "If you are too sick to go to school, then you are too sick to have sweets. If you feel well enough to eat sweets, then you are well enough to go to school." I was almost hoping Aarti would take that rout, but what she did do was just as good. I am really looking forward to her telling off that nosy Bua tomorrow.

If only Vidhi wouldn't stick her nose into things, Aarti and Yash would be better off. The brothers' teasing of Yash was doing quite good on its own. After all, look how quick he was to defend Aarti and praise her efforts when Prateek was making fun. What I do wonder though, is what was the purpose of having Aarti overhear Yash's denial of any possibility of love in the relationship? I mean, right now the main emphasis for Aarti is going to be focusing on Palak's issue. I don't see that she is going to have much time at the moment to focus on whether Yash's views on their relationship has changed, so I don't get exactly why the CVs had Aarti present in that scene.
