Ohhh MINAZ! I never knew, Social media has destroyed your human relationship!. No wonder, you are still GREEN. 😆.

Xoxo

LOL. Mines are in a state of equilibrium ^-^ BUT i have witnessed others being affected - Children these days would prefer to be glued to their computer screens - playing games and whatever else they do in preference to going out or mingling with their family members. Social media has both it's advantages and disadvantages - Don't have time to dwell in deep. But maybe i'll come back to this topic once i get these darn assignments out of the way. At this moment my social life has been dominated by a whole load of paper load - don't think i need to worry about the social media, Uni is enough to alienate myself from the social realm. 😆

P.S. You need to get your ass of IF and start on your assignments! Gooo :)

Yes, I completely agree with you. Every person should know how to maintain a balance in his or her activites. Everything from managing your academic work, to spending some time with your family, to playing outside should be well maintained. Social media should be used a purpose of making communication easier and not as an addiction. For example, I think an hour of FB/Youtube/twitter is enough (max: 1 and a half?). As much as you want to go and surf net, try to spend your time reading, playing and stuff which can keep you occupied. Too much addiction of anything can prove to be dangerous.

Good post. Social media has changed the lives we lead. Anything we desire is just a click away. Chatting, dating, posting photos...everything is online today. But the question that always lurks is that, how safe it it? How safe is it to post your personal details on social networking and media sites? I came across an interesting social media site: Cafe4tune. It has 3D and 2D chatting, social networking, participation in groups etc. I find it quite safe.

Social media has changed the face of this era. Anyone with internet access is aware of blogs, message boards, Facebook, Twitter and YouTube. These websites have given rise to freedom of speech and instant communication in cyberspace. However, is social media destroying human bonding? People spend hours typing their thoughts away to a computer screen. Texting and tweeting have become the equivalent of breathing. Families are falling apart because kids would rather update their online status than spend time with their parents. The notion of playing outside with your friends is almost extinct because now you have enough gadgets to keep you occupied inside the house on Sunday afternoons. This new-found social networking phenomenon seems to be computerizing humans and turning them into robots.

Do you agree or disagree? --yaaa these things keeping people away from each other since 2006😉.

I had social networking when I was a kid, too... I think back then it was called outside playing n hangout with friends...bt its true that these social networks make lots of anti-socials 😊
