Does Age Matter?

Does age matter in a dance reality show? I'm not too sure, but in descending order, here goes:

1. Talat Aziz: Age 55 [Eliminated 1st week]
2. Sanath Jayasuriya: Age 42 [Eliminated 2nd week]
3. Jayati Bhatia: Age 42 [Eliminated 5th week]
4. Ravi Kissen: Age 40
5. Shibani Dandekar: Age 34
6. Gurmeet Chaudhary: Age 28
7. Archana Vijaya: Age 27 [Eliminated 3rd week]
8. Isha Sharvani: Age 27
9. Sushil Kumar: Age 27
10. Bharti Singh: Age 26
11. Karan Wahi: Age 26
12. Arjun Dhanjani: Age 24
13. Rashmi Desai: Age 24
14. Giaa Manek: Age 24
15. Pratyusha Banerjee: Age 20 [Eliminated 4th week]
16. Darsheel Safary: Age 16

It matters above a certain age because a) it is difficult for older non-dancers to keep up with the gruelling schedule and to learn so many new dance forms in a short time, and b) typically they have less vote bank than the younger heart throbs. But fitness matters also, for instance Bharti is probably having a much harder time than Shivani despite the eight year age gap between them. Also if we look at past seasons, what I remember off-hand is that there was often one older guy in the last three or four (e.g. Mahesh Manjrekar in season 1 and Mr Negi in season 2, the winner of season 3 was Baichung Bhutia in his thirties, younger people like Parul were eliminated before).

As for this season, the age thing is probably just a coincidence, next time either Archana or Sushil will go, and they are both young.😃

age matters or not...

darsheel is 16...i thought he was younger than tat. i thought he was 11/12 or 13 years old.
