Wait a Minute - Reality Check Here!

Ok...hold on, let me get this straight. First - My husband has chosen his friend over me for weeks now. He has not considered my feelings or my instincts, but I just say all is forgiven when he says he was wrong and doesn't want to talk about it any more? I just calmly forget all that has happened? Who can do this? Second - A crazy women tries to kill me, but instead of calling the police and having her locked up, my husband gets her a job and sends her on her way? No punishment? Third - Well, now that my husband is not occupied with his friend any more, I should just agree to have a child?

Can someone please explain to me why Nidhi has to be the one who always has to understand and give in? How is Ashu let off so easily here? Nidhi's family forgives him, Nidhi says it was all for love? Am I the one insane? Mallu was bad, very evil...but she is not sane and is obsessed! What is Ashu's excuse for treating his wife so badly and then saying I don't want to talk about it...we just start over now...do any of you really think a wife would just let it go this easily? Could you? I know I would have to have more than this...I mean the man would have to do some serious apologizing and penance...not just in words. Ashu talks about broken fences...I think it is a little more serious than that. YOUR FRIEND TRIED TO KILL YOU WIFE BECAUSE OF YOU! If your wife hadn't caught on, she would be dead now.

Seriously, we have weeks of Nidhi having to suffer because of Mallu, and in one day Ashu is forgiven? Is this fair? Is this just? I don't think so.

The issues and questions that you have raised are most valid...while, I did not expect Nidhi to leave Ashutosh even temporarily, because that would defeat the purpose in my opinion, I did expect a more emotional repentance and reunion...and a lot more detailing...did not expect it to be reduced to a cursory one scene thing...but that is the curse of this show...they always stretch negativity to the maximum and wrap up the good stuff in a jiffy...

On Mallika, indeed it was shocking that she was let off so easily...even if they did not want to press charges for whatever reason, that AShutosh actually found a pyschotic woman who had just attempted murder a job in another hospital was nothing short of appalling...she could have been sent her way with a cheque for the money that she paid to buy Nidhi's house off her...even a 25% extra as interest...but did not expect Ashutosh to compromise professionally...Nidhi's attempts to explain Mallika's actions were lame at very best...and Nidhi's nana's excessive show of sympathy for Mallika was astounding!

I really don't think that AshNi should be parents yet. I just don't think they're a quite mature couple ready for kids. I thought that Ashu should have believed Nidhi over his best friend Mallika. He clearly chose her over Nidhi until the matter of life and death came in, which is really sad.

I too wanted to leave him and let him pacify her bt nw i think she did gud by 4giving him... they wasted so much time on fights bcoz of Mallu... nw do u wnt them to spend more time in this fight...

Blame KP jis illogical writing for this mess. Seriously think he drinks bhaang before writing.

Surprisingly noone is serious about the fact that Nidhi was almost killed. Till now only Nidhi has given her everything in this relationship and in return Ashu only gave her insult and insecurity. So now its Ashus turn to make up for his unforgivable mistakes and all the pain he gave her.

For amoment can he see himself in her shoes and tolerated all this if it was her male friend at malikas place and he kept falling over her and trying to separate her from Ashu and attempt to take his life.

Super post.. and relevant points... but as we all know.. the writer has made it crystal clear..that.. Mallu is above all sins.. n Nidhi liable for even silly mistakes..! That divide was established from day 1.. n its only been getting vindicated day in and out..!
