Hearing those three little words "I love you" can mark a major turning point towards a future of togetherness. Ahem has declared that he had said it and had encouraged Gopi at least four times to say it.
His persistence in this matter never failed him to ask her either when alone or in the presence of his family members. He is aware that she expresses her love through various ways but he wants to hear her voice say those words of endearment, knowing that it will fill his heart and his soul with happiness.
His anticipation to hear this kept his mind preoccupied at work, which made him come up with excuses to talk to her. When she attempted to tell him over the phone she became overwhelmed by shyness. For Ahem her attempt made him breathless, giving him hope that she will soon tell him.
This declaration of love from him reflects his want and readiness to move on to the next stage in his life with Gopi.
In the meantime love makes a person do crazy and amazing things, just to impress your partner and show them that they mean the world to you. This is exactly what Ahem did when he made tea for her with perseverance, even though he relied on her instructions completely over the phone. His gesture of handing the cup of tea to her reflected a pinnacle moment for Ahem as it had shown his journey of love over the time he had been with her and how far he had come.
For Gopi she was overwhelmed by his stance of drinking the tea made by him that she thanked him twice. Her eyes welled up with tears of love towards him. Ahem read her facial expressions but was hoping she would convert her feelings and thoughts into words.
Ahem has become this loveable husband who is completely magnetised by the love of his life, his Gopi. He is waiting with bated breath and much anticipation for her to tell him these three little words, just to hear her say what she feels and shows him already.
