All news articles still say he's critical, not dead. If he had died, they would have reported it by now.

Dara Singh is my husband's grandfather and he is very much alive. But yes his condition is very critical but hes alive.

Dharmendra meets Dara Singh, asks people to pray for him

Veteran actor Dharmendra met ailing wrestler-turned-actor Dara Singh here today and urged everyone to pray for his speedy recovery. "He is my darling brother ...please pray for him. Doctors are trying their best," Dharmendra told reporters outside Kokilaben Hospital, where Singh is admitted.

Singh, was brought to a city hospital on July 7, still remains to be critical. The wrestler-turned-actor is admitted to Kokilaben Hospital after he suffered a cardiac arrest.

The Commonwealth wrestling champion, known for his roles in films like 'King Kong' and 'Faulad', is in ICU and on ventilator.

He was last seen on silver screen in Imtiaz Ali's 'Jab We Met' in 2007.

Dharmendra also met his actor friend Shatrughan Sinha, who is also admitted at the same hospital from July 2 due to breathing problem.

"He (Shatrughan Sinha) is doing fine," Dharmendra said.
