This episode was without a doubt the best episode yet. Ahem has come nearly full circle in his journey of love with Gopi.
This calls for drinks around the forum to not only celebrate the journey of Ahem and his love for Gopi but to raise a glass to the impeccable characterisation of Ahem by Nazim. He gave off a scintillating performance.
Ahem's emotions strayed from tense to pain to regret to envy to beseeching to penitence to happiness. In the process he had climbed many mountains and broken down all barriers to reveal to his mother his true feelings for Gopi expressing his wants and desires.
Ahem witnessed the fatal accident, stopped his car and ran to Gopi's side. Using his astute manner he took her to hospital reminding her that he was with her and called his mother telling her of the incident. At the hospital he informed the doctor that his wife was pregnant.
He became aggressive with the doctor upon hearing that the child could be affected. This was when he experienced his darkest moments of mental anguish. His pain turned to regret as he replayed the angry words he uttered of not wanting to be a father and of Gopi's words of not having parents.
It was in this distressful state when he observed someone else enjoying the joy of becoming a father realising that he too wants to have this too. He apologised to his mother for his wrong doings and implored her that he too wanted his Gopi and his child with him, like that new father. It was in this that his mother had finally seen her son's true self and hugged him to take away the pain he felt and told him to have faith.
When the doctors gave Ahem the good news that both Gopi and the child are fine, there was no stopping him any longer. His face wore happiness and his want to share it all with his Gopi.
His words were heartfelt as he praised Gopi for being a caring mother and told her that he too wanted to shower his child with love promising to be with them. He went on to give her the warmest hug, finally feeling relieved and delighted with her.
Ahem felt with his heart and thought with his mind. These two worked in synergy today. For now let's enjoy his present state and raise a glass to Nazim.
