Having read other posts over the weekend, I think I have a clearer picture of why ASR waited. And what a relief to think it wasn't because he still didn't have faith in Khushi! Yes, I know he really was in between a rock and a hard place having to choose between his wife and his sister. But I suppose Khushi almost having died in his arms right before this whole drama took place, I immediately wanted him to defend her and put an end to all that mudslinging. I see now he was doing damage control as far as Anjali was concerned- and I failed to observe a very critical point about it in regards to his sister! In keeping silent, he decided it was time for Anjali to face reality; and as a man of action, he stayed by her side all throughout offering her his comfort and support (though silent...until he stepped in!). You said Khushi too always has and always will place Anjali above herself- yep, she did it once again today by facing all that heat. And when she decided it was enough, it was only then that she asked Arnav to step in and take charge. I have renewed appreciation for your post Shalini, thanks for spreading the optimism!
