I thought Sohini Mishra sang really well during auditions, but her Friday's rendition to song "Dil Muft Ka' was terrible. I felt she butchered the song and was quiet suprised that all the judges were impressed by her rendition...anyone else here agrees with the judges that she was Excellent??

No I felt Sohini didn't do the justice the song and I'm not sure if the judges said it was excellent I think they said they were surprised she chose to sing the song and also it was a good attempt. Attempt, to me, means you tried, but you weren't entirely successful.

Do you recall what Asha Tai said to Sohini...your harkates were very good (Along these lines) - I felt Sohini literally butchered the song.

I thought her sargams, in the end and middle were good. But no impact, because she was so nervous.

overall, butchery only😆
