1st gala takes?

CONGRATULATIONS to Charit for making to top 10. Now moving on to the galas. first of all so happy we are finally into gala rounds.

Now let me begin my review.

I didn't understand how they had two abhisheks

RItika's performance
Gotta say I absolutely loved it. She did a fantastic job. The one thing I wish for this girl is just a bit higher scale for her. Gotta say loved that girls double role. She looks like a double trouble. (not in a bad way)

Vipul Mehta
Very nice beginning.. Didn't really understand the song but seems as he has done very well. Very few places of improvement. Annuji said well I can see how you are sunny deol fan. Not exactly sure


Amit Kumar
Very nice choice of song. Loved it. The way he sung it. Can't recall one single place where he was lacking sur or anything. Gotta say his hand movements and just general movements are kinda funny. But absolutely love this guy. The comment From Junior AB was too sweet. The way he was laughing when he got to the top was too funny. Singing still remained the best. Rohit shtety spinning him was HAHAHA


Poorvi's performance
Song seemed to suit her voice. She did a fantastic job. Though gotta admit quite a few places for improvement

Kausik Despande

This guy is obviously a born singer. I mean his performance comparing to the other was relatively better but I cannot forget that this experienced singer. However I expected him to select bit tougher song. His little rap part was wonderful. For the first time I felt like Annuji's shayari about KD made sense.

Sohini Mishra

First of all I felt like her outfit was very odd. I am still having a hard time understanding her voice.

Devendra

I am having hard time saying anything. Considering I literally think this can be our next II6. His performance/movements were fantastic. I do have to say he scales seemed bit low in the beginning. Annuji's shayari for him made absolutely no sense.

Deeksha Piyush

Well not very impressed lot of places for improvement.

Charit

Very nice start. However felt like he was going flat on sur in so many places. Very disappointed. He can use lots of guidance.

Amitabh Naryan

There is something about this guy's voice that touches the heart.

I am agreed with musicmuse.. I did not find all the fun in the episode at all.

Ritika, Amit, Kaushik, Davendra, Amitabh, and Poorvi performances was better but I believe they except Poorvi and Kaushik others have sung better in the past. Also I would like to hear Poorvi see how she handle non western songs.

Overall in todays singing I vote Kaushik and Poorvi just for this week lets see what we have in our platter following weeks.

Also, I dont understand How could Charit and Deeksha made this far still cant get over Indu Bala, Danish Khan, Soumiya Mishra not making it.
