Chapter 14: I know you

Khushi's Pov

Why did I say this? Whats wrong with me? Arnav, arnav, Arnav, OH GOD, why my every conversation starts with him and ends with him? I am fed up now. Why am I so effected?

NK: Hello, come to earth khushi (he waved his hand in front of her eyes)

Khushi: NK, can we talk something else please?

NK: Sure (he narrowed his eyes and looked at khushi's expression trying to figure out something)

Khushi: Tell me something about you

NK: I though you will never ask me that. LOLZ. Well, I am born in UK, fun loving guy. I had lots of girl friends, and I am not a virgin.

Khushi's eyes widened.

Khushi: WHAT? I never asked that.

NK: One day you would have so I thought I should tell you.

Khushi: Hmm, I like your honesty.

NK: That means you don't have a problem with that.

Khushi: Shut up NK.

NK: Now, good to know that you don't have a typical mind-set.

Khushi: you know what Arnav and lavanya has enrolled their name in the dance thing

NK: Hey that's great.

Khushi: What great, you don't know lavanya, she is eeeik.

NK: Chill babes, we will be the best.

Khushi: hmm. But if she does any kind of naatak on the rehearsal, I am going to give her left, right, centre

NK: ROFL

Khushi: Whats so funny?

NK: You cant.

Khushi: Why cant i?

NK still holding his tummy, he came close to her and whispered "you need to have that to do that"

Khushi with a confused face looked at him. "have what?"

NK: Unbelievable, you want me to say that?

Khushi understood the meaning now and blushed like hell. "Oh god NK, stop it yaar, you and you one track mind"

NK: thank god you got the meaning; otherwise my cheeks would have been like yourz

Khushi: its so fun to talk to you.

NK: I know.

Khushi: you know arnav was so quite since childhood, that most of the time I used to doze of in his room. He never opened up with me. I wonder how he is with Lavanya.

NK: He must have opened a lot of things khushi, in front of Lavanya, she is his gf afterall.

Khushi's smile faded with the thought.

Khushi: I don't think so (she said with a straight face, a little disgust in her expression)

NK: How does it matter what you think, that's a basic fact khushi, a couple in love ought to do these things

Khushi: No Arnav is not like that OK? He must have just kissed her. No no no no may be a peck, yes a peck maybe not more than that.

NK: Not everyone is like your type khushi.

Khushi: What do you mean by my type?

NK: Who hi, first friends, then you will analyse then decide whether I am eligible to be your boyfriend, then resistance in being physical, not even I kiss I guess

Khushi: NO I am not like that at all.

NK: Oh really?

Khushi: Absolutely.

NK: Can you kiss Arnav?

Khushi: I have kissed him.

NK: WHAT?

Khushi was dumstuck. No I did not kiss him.

NK: why are you so confussed. Either you have kissed him or you have not.

Khushi: No I did not kiss him.

NK: Are you sure?

Khushi: Ofcourse I am sure.

NK: Oh whatever.

Khushi still confused with her answer.

NK: So can you kiss him?

Khushi: No, ofcourse not. And btw why will I kiss him?

NK: Why cant you? You guys know each other for such a long time and you guys are friends.

Khushi: so what? And how it fits?

NK: Fits?

Khushi: How can you kiss your friend on his lips?

NK: I have not mentioned about the position.

Khushi was dumbstuck once again

NK: but I can kiss my friend on her lips.

He leaned on khushi and placed a peck on her lips.

Khushi flinched a little.

NK saw her face, she looked at him very surprisingly. (khushi realized that this was not her first kiss)

NK kissed her again, she did not resist him this time also.

She closed her eyes and she could see some flashes of her kissing someone. He was a guy and his image was blurred.

Khushi opened her eyes and saw NK still kissing her lips, she closed her eyes once again and saw the same sight. She was trying hard to see throught the blur image, she was trying her best to recollect who the guy is.

NK finally moved and saw khushi, sat in a calm manner, still closing her eyes, he could sense she was thinking something. He was not at all into the kiss.

Khushi opened her eyes and looked at NK.

NK looked at her.

Khushi's eyes shot opened. She wasnot in a position to blame him as she did not resist him when he did it for the second time.

Both their tranz broke when arnav said.

Arnav: Kissing like this is not allowed in the premises.

Khushi looked at him, arnav was calm, he looked at khushi and then her lips and then again back to her eyes.

Khushi's eyes immediately showed guilt. She didn't know why she said what she said after that

Khushi: Ar'.nav I am so sorry. I'I did not kiss him'I mean

Arnav: why are you tell me this?

Khushi: Ofcourse I have to tell you this. How'how could i'I have cheated on you

Arnav: WHAT? Are you ok khushi? Kya kehe rahi ho?

Khushi: How can I allow someone else to touch me when I am yourz.

Arnav and NK both were shocked to listen to this.

Khushi jumped on arnav and hugged him tightly.

Arnav and NK exchanged looks.

NK was utterly confused.

Arnav was extremely worried.

He touched her back and rubbed it.

Khushi closed her eyes feeling the warmth in his arms. It was the same warmth she liked, she thought, melting in his arms. Her grip became tighter. A smile played in her lips.

Arnav consoled NK by blinking.

NK smiled at arnav and left from there.

Khushi and Arnav stood there for quite sometime.

She did not feel like breaking the hug. It felt so right. It felt home.

Arnav slide his arms around her waist and held her tighter. He closed his eyes, feeling his khushi back in his arms once again. If he had an option, he would let her go once again. But he knew the feeling wasnot mutual. Maybe be it was love from his end but what about what she thinks? The things, which she is doing, her subconscious mind is making her do it. Is this what she will want? Maybe or maynot be. He cant just throw himself on her without her being fully aware of what she is doing.

Aranv to himself "I wish one day you come back in my arms forever and I will wait for that say, yes I love you khushi, I love you a lot, I have realized I love you since our childhood, who choti choti nok jhok was just love, I am so use to you, how can I tell you how much I missed you these 20 days? My room is no more the same without you. My bed is no more so comfortable after that night, my life is no more meaningful after we parted. I have never imagined that I can love someone so madly. But I love this jhalli khushi who has made my life upside down. And I love it."
