Why is Emraan Hashmi doing women centric movies?

He's doing women centric movies with vidya being the lead. Now the new movie with deepika is also a women centric where the whole movie is about her and he has a supporting role

I dunt think dere is nethin wrong in doin women centric movies... on the contrary I m happy if he allows da gurl to get more limelight cz its high time... women get substantial role in bwood.

If Bebo n Kat can act as a supporting star power in the film along with the Khans to carry the film forward at BO... den Emraan will only help the leading lady to get much wider audience wid his presence.

At the end of the day ur role matters even if its only for 10 mins... cz frm TDP... me n my family apart frm Vidya... took notice of Emraan's performance... so even bein da second lead... he got me as a fan 😃

I like him and vidya together but yeah really happy that women centric movies are coming back. I was just wondering why he didn't want the limelight to himself only...lol

well to dat he said he wuld like to do both multi-star cast n solo hero films.. n even said dat he is very selfish n wishes he culd only see himself onscreen full 2 hrs 😆

bt he said dat he culdn say no to a TDP cz da role n da whole setting of 80's excited him... n if he had said no cz he isnt the main lead... den he knew he wuld have regret it later aftr the release... so I guess he cares for the role n the treatment with which its made

I think it's great he's trying different types of movies and roles doesn't matter multi-starrer or notwill watch that interview

EH has no star power. He needs a semi-naked female to sell his movies. But his films are not really female oriented apart from TDP. Its just that the female actress is also promoted along side him. Case to the point being Murder 2 where Jackie's skin show was used extensively to promote the movie but in the actual movie the supporting actress had more to do.
