SRK and Hrithik are doting fathers
Bollywood Trade News Network

Actors are always on the run! Courtesy- their maddening schedules...And if one can still manage to spend quality time with their family, then its highly commendable. We all know what a workaholic SRK is. Come what may, he puts his best foot forward and delivers incredible performance as an actor. Well his personal life is no different. Despite his frantic lifestyle the 'baadshah of Bollywood' Shahrukh Khan reads out bedtime stories to his kids. A perfect actor, a perfect husband and a perfect father! Hats off to king Khan.

And how can we forget Hrithik Roshan who's son Rayhaan is now 3-months-old. Apparently Hrithik misses his son so badly on the sets that he got him a passport. Now the father-son duo can travel places together.

Doting fathers...aren't they?

Shahrukh has always been a great father to his kids, and has always tried to spend as much time as he can with them no matter how busy his schedule is, and now Hrithik is doing the same. That is so sweet!

Rayhaan's ticket to ride

Hrithik Roshan's three-month-old son has a passport. He can accompany his father on overseas shoots now

Ram Kamal Mukherjee

The month-long stint in Namibia for Sanjay Gadhvi's Dhoom 2 must have been the longest for Hrithik Roshan as he missed his three-month-old son Rayhaan. Not wanting to be subjected to the pain of being separated from his son for long intervals of time, Hrithik has got Rayhaan's passport made so that he can travel with him.

Just before leaving for his shooting in Namibia, Hrithik said, "I will be missing Rayhaan a lot." At that time Hrithik wanted Suzanne and Rayhaan to fly down to Durban while they were shooting there. "I was not sure whether Namibia would suit the baby or not. But when I shifted to Durban, I had plans to call them over from Mumbai," he said.

The plans did not materialise prompting Hrithik to work on his son's passport immediately.

"Yes, Rayhaan has a passport now," says Hrithik. "I have come to understand that fatherhood is probably the best thing that has happened to me. A smile from Rayhaan every morning gives me energy to work harder. He is undoubtedly the most important part of my life," says Hrithik.

Considering the Krrish toys are popular among kids, did Hrithik gift one to Rayhaan? "Oh yes…he was the first one to get the toy from my papa. He has got the entire Krrish collection. But he is too small to understand and play with it," he said.

Incidentally, Hrithik missed the post-release reaction of Krrish, because he had to leave for the outdoor of Dhoom 2 a day after the release. "I don't know why it happens to me," he laughs. "Whenever my home production releases, I am snatched away and taken to some god-forsaken place where there is no connectivity. When Koi…Mil Gaya was released, I was away in Ladakh."

Meanwhile, Hrithik is preparing for Ashotosh Gowariker's Akbar Jodha which will roll from September. Has he decided to work on one film at a time? "I want to be focussed and honest to every project that I do. The only way to achieve that is doing a film without being distracted. If you do five films at a time, then none of them will stand out as the most important one for you. So, I need to do one film at a time," says Hrithik.

SRK ban gaya gentleman!

He might be one of Bollywood's biggest superstars, but unlike other stars, stardom hasn't gone to his head. Well that's not our observation, but what a budding producer Bobby Pushkarana has to say about Shah Rukh. Pushkarana, who produced the last year's National Award winning film Page 3 went to meet SRK at his bungalow and came away impressed by the actor's impeccable manners. "He's so down to earth; when I had to leave he came out and personably escorted me right up to his gate and told me, 'Sorry, I have to rush back quickly as my children are in the bed and I have to read them a story.' I couldn't believe my ears. He may be the biggest superstar on screen, but in real life, he's like any normal doting father," says Bobby. Well, that's SRK for you - actor, father and a gentleman. The complete man!
