WHile they did kill Priya's character during the divorce drama, y'day they just made it to a never comeback zone. It's good u skipped to avoid the torture! Iam honestly not excited for an immediate RaYa reunion. THe magic is gonna be fake!

Never in all my years of watching soaps have any characters really impressed me as being real until May 2011 when i saw the first episode of BALH. and met with Priya Sharma. I was like "Wah... ekta kapoor has finally grown up" and she really had me amazed that she had chosen such a real topic as the basis of a daily soap. It grew on a person without hammering or bull dozing its way into the collective subconscious of the audience... If Ram Kapoor dazzled and wowed me, Priya sharma entered my heart through my head ... and today I stand shocked as this wonderfully conceptualized character has been made to bite the dust because of the demand of TRPs.

Why cant women be sensible in an EKta show? why do they listen to the most insignificant characters at the most momentous times in their lives? and what is it with the Bhagwan attitude that the female lead adopts at the most critical juncture of their lives...

Today I do not understand Priya... she has not behaved like a Sharma or a Kapoor. If she had been a sharma she would have analysed the problem from various angles and then taken the right decision - if she had been a Kapoor she would have blasted her way to Ram's arms!!! that she did not do either but decided to leave the one man who really mattered is something that I find difficult to stomach!!!

Why was she so stunned that Ram had accepted that she had died? It was 20 days since the accident, no body no nothing.. it was only natural right? but no the minute she sees Ram in white and acting like a husband who mourns the loss of his wife she thinks "how can he" and then she hears the most juvenile conversation of the entire season 1 and decides on the basis of the most nincompoopish character's analysis of what might happen if Ram were to learn to proceed with life that it is better that she leaves him.

HOW COULD YOU PRIYA? YOU TAUGHT HIM TO RECOGNISE AND ACCEPT LOVE.. YOU SHOWED HIM THAT TRUST, FRIENDSHIP AND COMPATIBILITY COULD BLOSSOM BETWEEN TWO PEOPLE WHO WERE AS DIFFERENT AS CHALK AND CHEESE. AND YOU MADE HIM BELIEVE THAT CHILDREN AT THIS STAGE WERE A MIRACLE THAT SHOULD BE ENJOYED AND LOVED... AND YOU DO THIS??? WHEN DID YOU BECOME SELFISH - SO SELFISH THAT YOU HURT THE ONE LIFE IN THIS WHOLE WORLD THAT LOVES YOU IMPLICITLY, COMPLETELY AND WITHOUT RESERVATION!!! HOW COULD YOU?? AND THE REAL WREATH ON THE COFFIN IS THE DECISION TO NOT TELL RAM THAT YOU ARE PREGNANT... BYE BYE LADY YOU DO NOT DESERVE ANY LOVE FROM THE BIG MAN... AND I WONDER HOW SHE IS GOING TO JUSTIFY THIS DECISON AND SEEK FORGIVENESS...

This has to be a separate post girl!! Fabulous and every word hitting the nail on truth!! IF BT wants to provide the MAHAAN tag and bury the hatched since JR GOLI is here. That is BS multiplied. Iam not buying it

I may be the minority too here but I too think that was the best decision one could make in the given circumstances.

She decided to go so that Ram could move on and not spend his time mourning/pinning for her while she's in jail for 14 years. Ram believing her death is one time pain but the fact that she is alive and away from her for 14 years is a constant torture to not only her but everyone in the family. Isn't this called love?

And point to be noted is that the separation is going to be tougher for Priya. Taking a new identity totally and knowing that you will never be able to meet your love ones despite being quite close is not an easy task.

I reinstate that Priya's decision was right at that moment.

But another question is if she is in Dubai, should she still not contact Ram and not tell him about his child? To me that is wrong.

While in Dubai she has no threat of being arrested and can live with a new identity. But not contacting Ram is a very stupid decision. He can make trips to Dubai or settle there with her.

Unless the CVs will shock us completely by giving a totally new reason for Priya not contacting Ram.

Tell me why would. should Priya make that decision? Which is my primary issue. Why not consider what Ram wants or needs? Isn't that important in a two way relationship? She thought he had to knwo the truth. So she threw a divorce drama, insulted his love, called his love compared to a friend and stooped low.

Now she thinks Ram needs to MOVE ON!

Is that calle dLOVE? U take decision without caring what the other person thinks or WANTS?

Separation is gonna be tougher for Priya? Getting a new identity, not having to lead 14 years in the jail vs having a life in Dubai with a kid to hang onto. Or live for 5 years thinking ur wife is dead while she is living a new identity. And take care of the family inspite of breaking down. The choice was not gievn to RAM. PRIYA Made it and she is making them pay for it! Hence my no sympathies!

Priya not contacting Ram is gonna be a huge subject of argument esp after pregnancy!! I think it better be a worthwhile reason by CV"s!
