Ranbir detects that the mummy has possessed the security guard. The ACP and other cops arrive in the nick of time to save Raj Vardhan. But the mummy declares that by arresting the bodyguard, they would only be causing harm to him. He would come back till he avenged his death and that Raj Vardhan's death was inevitable. Ranbir realises that he has to destroy the mummy to be able to stop the killings. Ranbir goes to an archaeologist to find a way to destroy the mummy.
