Just watched the episode, with the laptop at the ready! Ok I can't understand why Jigar is pleading for Ahem to apologise to Kokila???! Of all the people, he should begin any or all conversations with..."I'm sorry Gopi!" Not "I'm sorry mum"...after all it's not his mum who got pregnant!!
Sometimes his character really infuriates me. I was very impressed with Dev's performance today, and she managed to gain the 'knot in the back of the throat' moments when she spoke about her sad orphaned childhood. After giving such a humble and honest confession, should have provided the truest momen for Ahem to come out and sincerely say to Gopi..."I'm sorry Gopi, I didn't mean it, please forgive me, you don't need to feel this way...". But no, he has to offer his apologies to his mum???!!!
Yes I am well aware that on a practical note, Kokila wears the trousers and he would need to apologise to her first to make any progress and stop what is currently happening in the house. But in terms of priorities, values, morals and respect - it should be Gopi that is number one. But, in my opinion, she continually seems to be number two in his frame of mind. He's got to make her first and get courage, stop all this childhood fear of his mum. He is supposed to be a grown man after all.
Infuriating!!!!!!!!
