SBS today was on the sets of SI.. they were shooting for the 15 Aug-Independence Day Special..
Hu looked GORGEOUS in a red churidaar kurta... very very handsome! As always!! 👏👏👏
First they showed Hu putting a garland around a statue of silver-painted Mahatma Gandhi..only to reveal that it wasn't a statue but a real man, who had the record of standing still in one position for 35 HOURS!!!!!!!!!!! Phew!! 👏
Another guy who couldn't walk..but danced to the 'Hindustani' song from the movie, Dus - and he was amazzzzzing!! 👏 He mentioned he does not do this for a living..but hopes that after the show is aired, he could do something about it.
There were lotsa children on the set..cheering away for the participants.
They interviewed the producer-director of the show..and he said, the motive of the show was not only to bring forth the talents & skills of the ordinary man..but also to make Indian proud of the people of their country. He also said, the channel does monetarily help participants, besides giving them the platform to showcase their abilities. And also, they have a voting system where the viewer chooses whom they liked the most, and the one with the most votes will receive the title of 'Pride of the Nation'..and also sponsored gifts.
Hu said.. 'these guys are the real heroes. We act.. we beat up 10 guys at a time.. but these people are real life heroes' 👏
