On your sex appeal I guess it's my eyes. It's not just the colour of my eyes but the shape, eyebrows, and eyelashes. This analysis has been done by others especially women and also some men with straight preferences. So I've taken it seriously (laughs). How girls react to you My approach to women and girls is different. I get a positive response from them. They like my attitude. They feel I'm tough but realize that I'm soft within once they get to know me. I look like a serious guy from far but my smile washes it away. They like that about me. I'm a combination of soft and tough. After they get to know me they all fall in love with me. Your first date It was in Bareilly. My principal's daughter was taking her dog out for a walk. I followed her, said hi to her and ran away. I was kind of seeing her for a short time. Your first crush It happened while I was walking on the road in Bareilly when a car ran over my foot and it got crushed (laughs). I was careful after that. Your most cherished compliment When my first episode of 'Akela' was aired, I got calls from Anupam and Kiron Kher, Ashutosh Gowariker, and Raj Kaushal, who're all my friends, saying they liked the show. They appreciated my performance in it. It really moved me. Your wildest compliment (Laughs) A girl who watched me on television told me that she fantasizes about the way I raised my eyebrows (laughs). Love & romance... Love is a feeling that does not happen immediately. It's a bond that happens over a period of time, maybe years after living with somebody. It's getting so used to each other and feeling incomplete if you don't wake up next to that person. You know how important that person is in your life and nurture the relationship. I don't believe in love at first sight. The passion you feel for the person in the beginning of a relationship develops into a bond if all goes well. I'm a very romantic person. Lust... (Laughs) Lust is a craving. It's like craving for a cup of tea. But the feeling goes away after you've had it. It's a very strong emotion and could overpower one's mind. It could even dismantle a person. On a nudist beach I've never been on one so I don't know what I'll do. I'd probably get so conscious and feel nude even if I'm clothed. I don't think I'd be able to stay on one for too long. I'm sure it would be a great sight but I'd definitely not jump on someone or lie nude. What if a girl made a pass at you? I'd say thank you (smiles). Would you ask a girl out if you liked her but didn't know her well? I would to get to know her better or enough to get comfortable or close enough to her. What if you fell short of money on a date? I'd surely not wash dishes. I'd call a friend and ask him to bail me out or think of something quickly. Your dream date It would be on a hill station in good chilly weather. I'd sit on a bench looking at the valley and the greenery around with a cup of tea in my hand and a woman by my side (laughs). Would you dress to impress a girl? I wouldn't make too much of an effort. Clothes make a lot of difference but if you don't know how to treat a woman, everything is useless. I like to wear good clothes but would rather concentrate on treating her well. Flirtations... People tell me that I'm a flirt. I don't know how I flirt. Probably it's foreplay of words or mental stimulation using my gift of the gab. But I know how to make conversation with a woman very interesting. Marriage... It's the end of the world (laughs). I feel I'm living on one end and can't come to the other end. But I'd recommend it to everyone. It stabilizes your life as it gives you physical and emotional support. The best part of marriage is having a baby. It's an amazing feel. I can never forget the day my son was born. It's a real cherished moment. What if your wife caught you with your pants down? I'd tell her that I'd come for a science class and we were having a practical session. Jokes apart, I don't think something like that would ever happen. Being married brings its responsibilities and one should be careful not to hurt the people who love you unconditionally. Your wildest bedroom fantasy Sleeping next to Angelina Jolie and waiting for some action.
Are women a necessary evil? They are not unnecessary but they aren't evil. It depends on what you get out of them. H (Sudanshu Pandey is thrilled with the response to his telly serial, 'Akela' in which he plays a man who can see the dead and converse with them. He's looking forward to his major Bollywood film, 'Alibaug' with Sanjay Gupta. Life really seems to be looking up for this model-turned-actor cum singer!) |
