Anything Aarti did could have had alternate motivations
From deciding that she couldn't leave Yash in the lurch to the reasons behind why she felt jealous of him with another woman, every action and reaction could have had an alternative explanation. There was no one feeling that made it apparent that Aarti was indeed in love with Yash, and not just perturbed by the words of her so-called well wishers. It reminded me of the movie Inception except because Aarti's self esteem is so non-existent right now, and she is in a constant state of sleep, ie denial, it is perfectly easy for people to put thoughts into her head and the fact that they are people she trusts and respects does not help the issue.
Aarti is restless thinking about what they are saying, wondering if she could possibly be in love, making her conscious around Yash because she is having forbidden thoughts, and forcing her to grapple with saplings of emotion that are not formed enough to face yet. Shobha is getting more and more insufferable. Instead of letting Aarti vent like she wanted to, she chimed in with her own romantic story. Personally, I think Aarti hung up because the visual of her mom and dad falling in love again and feeling like newly weds was an added trauma she could do without. 😳
Today's episode belonged entirely to Kratika! She was so incredibly adorable in her confused and lost avataar that I just wanted to give her a big hug and tell her not to worry. Poor thing, even the kids, her biggest crutch were missing in action as they were, for once, sleeping like angels. I hope they give a little more substance to the incomplete Palak track soon because that is hanging in the balance.
Yash is hyper-aware of Aarti
It is clear from the episode that Yash has actually started believing that Aarti is his assistant/designer and has come to rely on her. The way he came up to her and started batting off tasks for her to do was amazing progress from the man who vetoed the idea of her working with him almost before it came out of Vidhi's mouth. And yet there is this mistrust about him when he immediately completes Aarti's sentence that she can't work with him and he walks away as though he had braced himself for the impact but not quite succeeded. He felt foolish once more for a second for not letting her in. But then she rushed over, made amends and he smiled the most satisfied of smiles. It reminded me of when he found out she didn't want the divorce and brought her home. There too, foolish and deceitful actions of his family threatened to separate them and it was Aarti who had to extend the olive branch. When Yash will take the initiative to make sure they stay together remains to be seen...
Of course it was more highlighted when they were working in the room together. Yash was on a phone call and yet it seemed his full attention was concentrated on trying to catch Aarti's elusive mumblings. This to me shows that he is just waiting to swoop in the moment she gives him the green light, but until then there is not much he can do. But it is clear that he is disturbed by Aarti's strange behaviour.
I do agree that at the minister's house he could have defended her more emphatically, but he was already to get up in a rage until Aarti stopped him by saying she was ok. I think it is interesting that they are showing his trust returning in such a drastically different way. He trusts her with this enormous contract, to handle it with efficiency, like she has proven she can. The trust she lost on a personal front, she is gaining back professionally.
Gayatri's self-esteem! 😲
This was my favourite scene of the day! I was so proud and happy for Gayatri who finally felt confidence and peace in her decision to such an extent that even Bua had no hole to wind through. The loophole of the bahu-double standard was also revealed when Gaya explained that Aarti's case was different because she was not working for someone else, but as a wife for her husband. Will Paridhi force Prateek to open Scindia Radio?

This is a really interesting introduction by the CVs in terms of Aarti and Yash introspecting about themselves. Often we have to see someone else's problems to get a clearer grasp on our own and i think this girl and her love story will surely be a catalyst for that. I am interested to see where this track takes both Yash and Aarti.
