Now,before I begin i have a confession. In my earlier post 'Swaron:Predictable is boring' I had called Shivam as 'C***vam'.It was edited though by the admins. The reason for this confession is people who have read my aforementioned post shouldn't think of me as hypocrite, beacause this post is in support of Shivam. Most of us dislike Shivam because he causes nothing but problems. He ruined the Dazzlers name, and caused an intermission in Swaron's romance .But he is also the reason that we actually came to know that Sharon loves Swayam. He moved the story forward, made it more exciting. An antagonist brings out the hidden qualities in a protagonist. We get to know how the protagonist reacts in stressful situations,we get confessions and a deeper view into a protagonists mind and personality. He(antagonists) is the catalyst for change in the story and a character. And the fact that a lot of us hate Shivam proves the excellent acting skills of Lavin Gothi.

I kind of disagree here with you. I have nothing against Lavin but honestly speaking i didn't find him a worthy villain material. He doesn't have that callibre or nor does the personality of being a negative character. Neither he have a dominating physical presence neither does he have cunning look which can make him appear like a shrewd master mind. He is a antagonist so he may have moved the story forward but anyone else would have done a better job than him.

In his first appearence he was alright at least he had a plan but in his second outing he is all clueless with no plan . Now he may be targetting Tani but to be honest he just stumbled upon her by mistake not that he had done any planning or something. I have read somewhere bigger the hero bigger villain will be needed. Then only true sense of victory is understood. For a Harry Potter we need a Voldemort not Draco Malfoy. In the same way if heroes are someone like Rey and Swayam then we need better class of antagonist.

The post is interesting...yea the gist is conveyed but I agree with Shishir...the actor is getting the brickbats here coz erhaps the character has not yet materialized effectively...at least this time around...the second cuming he was clueless mostly...the protagonist benefits that we hav seen as yet I wuld credit more to the script than any extra effort from the antagonist character or actor...there is a lot of polishing required on that front ...personal opinion 😊
