Amusing or ??

Watching yesterday's episode.. the journalist and the man from AA, when they were telling their experiences, some points were in fact amusing but i felt the laughter at the horrid situations the addicts were in was in bad taste or maybe the fact when we dont know how it feels it doesnt sound as bad?

Maybe i am being very judgemental but then i would love to know other peoples views on this.

Umm.. its not really about that. my sense of humor is pretty disastrous. i laugh at everything which may not be funny to many. but if someone tells me or i hear something which is more of somebody's struggle, be it funny or not, i wont laugh.

There is nothing wrong in it in my opinion. Both the journo and the man from AA told their stories with a tinge a humour. I felt it funny especially when the man from AA narrated about the hospital episode. Life does not run on only 1 colour. there are diffrent shades to it. If you remember in the episode about disabled people even they told their experiences with a tinge of humour.

i dont think the audience laughed at the men. but i felt the sense of expressionwasnt required as it is a touchy subject. and not everyone can be so light about it.

What bothered me more was the impact of that journo's addiction, he lost his parents, that letter his father wrote-shows how his life was spirally down, to still live with that memories and trying to build a new life is very commendable.

i was almost hoping fr a filmy reunion.. 😊

i agree .. people do mask it ..
i still felt the audience was being a wee bit insensitive
