@passionalive, Ankur, Sita: I understand what you are saying about TRPs but you must also know that channels get advertisements on the basis of TRPs... no matter how much this system is flawed, it determines their monetary benefits.
But we can expect things to get better as digitization of cable tv system is going to be introduced soon.

Thanks for opening this post. While all seem to agree that the new couple have butchered the show, the producers of the show are continuing to put their trust in the Dappu-Jhappu duo. Reading from the forum, quite a few people have forwarded links wherein regular viewers have expressed disappointment with the duo. Then why is it that the PH is continuing with its suicidal mission?

i. Extent of damage The PH has not received enough feedback and is under the impression that things are not 'that bad'. If that is the case, we need to spam them with feedback. Maybe use Rangmunch / Telly Tadka as someone has already suggested. Maybe someone should put up the FB ids / twitter ids of Sudhir / other relevant people on the first page of the forum.

ii. The PH is being forced / coerced by the channel to increase TRPs and having a 'credible 😕 duo' at the helm is the PHs way of showing that they are trying their best. If that is the case, I have no clue as to what we can do. Perhaps keep pointing out to the PH that TRPs increased during the week of May 29th when we had a sensible storyline. And somehow convince the PH to give sensibilities another try.

iii. Maybe someone (one of the talented VM makers) can make a comparison between the 'Then' & 'Now'. Btw Sharmil and some of the other spoof writters are doing an immense job of highlighting this.

Afraid that is my two cents on what we could possibly do.

thanx for the pm. it's a much needed post . i was busy with study pressures for the last few days so couldnt log in here but noticed the bloopers nevertheless.

it's high time the PH brings back the old crew of directors and writers back to the show .. they need to understand that we want a quality show sans any stupid gimmicks, but given the way the new writer & director duo (do they deserve to be called so ?? i think not !! ) has butchered logic and basic common sense from the story starting with mohan's silly sting operation upto the equally stupid megha dragging mohan from PL to home.. pata nahi kaha tak damage control ho payega !! also megha's continous stubborn refusal to mohan's love was understandable to the point till she voiced her own feelings but post that i think she should behave a bit resonably since she has now come to terms with her own feelings.. okay i'm not asking her to scream ILU from rooftops or run into mohan's arms but at least she could have a clear-cut convo with mohan about her own fears about this relationship and her reasons for staying away from mohan .. at least that would make more sense than writing a cliched track and then executing it in a filmy way !!
