Part1

Kripa Sherma, daughter of rich industrialist Mahir Sharma, walks in at 7:30pm from work. Right after she turns on the lights, she press play on her voice message machine.

Now making a cup of black coffee she looks up and smiles bright after hearing.

1 new message

BEEP…

"Hey Kripa, dad here. How are you? I hope your fine as always! And I haven't just called just to ask how you are but also to tell you something very important… now u better sit down for this because this is my very last decision…" after a little pause he shoots "your coming to India! Ok, and I don't want to here any excuse! Your coming and you're coming for at least 3 months. Your tickets have already been booked for tomorrow evening Sameer will call you and then you can settle a time and place to where you'll pick up your tickets and a few of my documents from him. Well I have to rush now! I'll hopefully see you in India now! Alright deer take care, bi."

BEEP!!!! End of final message!

Kripa sighed big thinking about her dad and India. She new she wanted to go, but then she also new going back would just mean more complications in life…

Flash Back---------

You see a very big mansion and out side you see a plate saying Sharma Mansion.

Then you see a guard opening the big metal gate while he greets a good looking guy in his red sports car. Then you see the red car pull in the drive way and you finally see Angad Khanna step out of his car …

And walks right in to the main front doors of the mansion and in he went straight to a very beautiful room. There he saw a gorgeous girl lying in bed in her silk nighty …

"I can't believe your still sleeping!"

Angad said with anger in his voice. Just then he sees her beautiful face covered with a strand of hair, he smiled at her smile. He goes closer to the bed and then right by her side! He came closer and closer, until his lips touched hers and right then you see the girl open her eyes in shock! And push Angad away!

"What the HELL!" she screamed from the bottom of her lungs.

"Good Morning Mrs. Sherma, its about time you got up" He replied in an incredibly annoyed way.

"OMG ANGAD!! I'm so… just then she glances the clock on her wall … SORRY, just 2 minutes I promise only 2 please!!!!!"

"NO! You always do this to me Kripa. Its 8:30 and class starts at 9. How the hell are we going to make it on time?

Just then Kripa makes a puppy face

FINE just hurry up! You have ONLY and ONLY two minutes"

Saying that Angad leaves the room and walks down stairs, and sees Mahir Sherma,

"Good morning Mahir Uncle, how are you?" Angad said with a bright smile, forgetting all about Kripa.

"Very well Angad, and a very good morning to you too." Saying that he gets up and shakes hands with Angad.

"So, what brings you here this early?" Mahir says with a confuse look.

Angad smiles and looks up the stairs watching Kripa run down the stairs yelling "Ready!"

Mahir looks up surprise to see Kripa in such a hurry. He then glances at his watch and says "Yap late as always right son?"

Angad glances back at Mahir and just nods his head.

Right then Kripa runs to Angad and says "ready and sorry." Just then she notices Mahir standing next to Angad getting his briefcase.

"Leaving for office dad already dad?"

Mahir gives Kripa a stern look and just replies with a plane good morning and a bi.

Kripa watches her dad walk out of the Mansion and then looks at Angad "ready?"

"Yes, about and hour ago." Saying that even he walks out the house and right into his car starting it. While he plays some nice music he watches Kripa settle her self down in the car. Angad doesn't say anything he just drives straight ahead.

It had been about 5 minutes until Angad was driving he was just way to annoyed at time to say anything, and Kripa was just to lazy to say anything, anything at all. After about another 5 minutes Angad drove in a full parking lot but no one to be seen only cars since classes had already started, they were late.

He stepped out of the car and so did Kripa, he gave her one quick glance glance, she wore a

her hair tied into a high pony tale and her make-up done just enough for it too compliment her face. She looked pretty like always.

Angad walked, and behind him followed kripa, she knew she had to make it up to him this wasn't the first time she had made Angad and her self late.

So as he walked kripa called his name "Angad, Angad…" for the last time when he didn't reply she got hold of his wrist and pulled him back.

"Naraaz ho?" kripa said as she put her arms around his neck.

"Haan hoon!" Angad stated still not looking at her.

"Oh come on Angad I said I was sorry! What do you want me to do now?"

For the first time Angad faced Kripa looking deeply in her eyes and got lost in them… He moved his face forward… so did Kripa before they new It they were kissing in the middle of the parking lot, they slowly pulled away and formed a hug.

"wow that was so weird!! I cant belive I actually just kissed Angad and it felt so wrong. I don't think things are going to work between us." Kripa thought. And then in the second cleared her mind and walked towards her class.

Part2

At the end of the day luckily Kripa an Angad hadn't got in trouble, like always they had fooled the teacher making her think they were there the entire time.

"Hey Kripa want to come over to my place now?" Angad asked while he played with his car keys.

"Why anything special?" Kripa asked

"Well in a way, yes, but don't ask what because you're just going to have to come and see for your self" Angad settled while he and Kripa sat down in his car and drove away to the Khanna Mansion.

In about 10 minutes they were standing right in front of the Khanna mansion.

Angad drove in and as soon as he did he saw Kripa's mouth open wide. In shock! He had a smile on his face and Kripa new exactly why.

She yelled in excitement as she saw Kiren standing out side the door waiting just as impatient as Kripa.

With out wasting another second Kripa hopped out Angad's car and ran and hugged her best friend and Angads younger sister Kiren Khanna:

Kiren and Kripa had known each other as long as they lived they did everything together, starting from elementary school to junior high but then in the beginning of grade 8 Kiren and her family decided to send her to UK to complete the rest of her studies with her older brother. Kiren and Kripa were the same age; therefore Angad was a year older to both.

After the tight hug Kripa and Kiren walk in the house trying to catch up in life in a few seconds.

Inside the house Naina Khanna

a house wife and a great loving mother to all her kids including Kripa, comes rushing out of the kitchen instructing the cook a few instructions regarding the afternoon meal.

"Kripa!" Naina called as she opened her arms for a hug.

"Mom, how are you?" a very happy Kripa said as she hugged Naina back.

Kripa and Naina shared a very special relation. She was just like a mother to her all her life. Kripa never saw her real mom since she died giving birth to her. And Naina was the closest thing she had to a mother. As Kripa grew up she spent most of her childhood with the Khanna family since her father would have to go out the country sometimes, so Kripa would spend most of her time at the Khanna house which was why she was so close to each and every member of the family.

"Very well and what about you sweat heart?" she replied with just as much as love.

Breaking apart and walking to Kiren putting her arm around her, "better then ever now,"

With that Kripa and Kiren ran upstairs to Kiren's room.

In the room: "Oh my god, Kiren I missed you so much! You don't have any clue man SO much has happened!"

Kiren hopped on her dresser still facing Kripa, "well other then you and Angad dating I don't think any thing major has changed."

At Kirens comment Kripa turned now not facing the other side of the room .

Kiren noticed and ran behind Kripa and hugged her lightly from the back turning her and then moving away putting her hands on her hips! "My My my is this the Kripa Sherma I know, blushing!"

Now turning back again, "oh shut up Kiren I wasn't blushing"

Now jumping on the bed Kiren lays back resting her head on the pillow, "Are you too really serious about each other?" a concerned Kiren asked

Joining Kiren on the bed Kripa gives Kiren a confused look. "I don't know I mean I and Angad were great friends and then he asked me to the fall dance and then you know… I mean I've dated a lot of guys but Angad he's different I mean he's also a great friend! And it's not as if I don't care about him or any thing but I don't think I really Love him Love him… if you know what I mean!"

"Hmm… I see how it is! Does he feel the same way about you Kripa?"

"Yes I'm sure he does like come on Kiren this is Angad we're talking about! And he would've told me if he was really serious serious and it's been time and I don't think he does!" Kripa answered a bit unsure of her self.

"Alright if you say so!" Kiren said out loud while inside she thought "I hope Angad feels the same way."

"Ok forget all that now!! SO tell me what have you been up to and how is Mohan?? I haven't seen him for the longest time now! Did Mr. I love to study find some once special in UK?" Kiren laughed watching the way Kripa talked about her older brother.

"Oh come on Kripa, we both know he's had a crush on you for ever! But you broke my poor brothers heart." She said in a teasing way.

"Oh shut up Kiren! You know if he had the guts to ask me out I would've said yes, but he was too late Sahil already asked me to the dance, and after that you and Mohan and you moved to UK to complete the rest of your studies.

Before Kiren could say anything she was interrupted by the knock on the door when she got up to open it a smile appeared on her face automatically.

"Sumit Bahi!!" Kiren yelled as she hugged him tight

Summit Khanna, Dillip and Naina's oldest son. He's married and to Anjali, Anjali Khanna his wife and the mother of his 3 year old daughter Sanjana Khanna.

"Hey sis, how are..." Before Sumit could finish a young and beautiful girl appeared from the back in the back

Anjali, Sumit's wife and an older sister to all his siblings.

"Anjali Babhi!!" yelled Kiren showing double the excitement to when she saw Sumit.

Hearing Sumit and Anjali's name Kripa came running to the door where she found a mad Sumit staring at Anjali and Kiren talking away. At this Kripa giggled which brought Sumit to notice Kripa.

Now it was his turn to get revenge. "KRIPA!!!" Sumit yelled as he pulled her into a sweet hug saying, "Now this is my sister!" Kripa laughed under her breath watching Anjali sticking her tong at Sumit.

"Oh come on both of you" Kripa said as she watched the married couple fight like little kids, as she walked to Anjali and hugged her tight.

"Welcome back Babhi, how was the trip?"

Anjali just smiled and said very good and thank you.

"Excuse me, but I wanted to notify you that lunch is getting served and Naina Madam is calling you all downstairs to have your meal." Tony the butler said in the most formal voice alive.

"Thank you Tony, tell mom we'll join her in a moment." Said Karan as he wrapped his arms around his beautiful wife and then watched Tony disappear in the next corridor.

"Come on now lets head down stairs for lunch plus I'm starving to death, and where is I Angad haven't exactly met him" Kiren said in a guilty expression. As watched Anjali and Karan already making their way down the stairs "Kripa you go ahead… I'll catch you latter I'm going to go see Angad."

"Alright, but I don't think you would have to go any where for that" Kripa pointed behind her, where an Angad stood with Sanjana in his arms. "Hey Sanju" Kripa stepped forward and kissed Sanjana on the cheek as she took her out o of Angads arms. "Let's go and have some lunch." Before Kripa left she turned back and told them to come down soon.

Part3

"Angad! You forgot about me!" Kiren put her arms around Angad and smiled.

"Oh shut up Kiren, you were just too busy with Kripa to even notice me!" He pushed her arm off in anger and started to walk toward his room. At this Kiren lost the smile and felt guilty as she stumbled kind of loosing her balance.

"I'm sorry Angad" Kiren suddenly lost the guilt and caught up with Angad and smiled like a spoiled brat "it's not my fault your girlfriend was hogging me"

Angad turned quickly and gave Kiren a quick mean look. "Don't bring you Kripa into this, and I'm surprised you already got the news."

"Well duh I did, Kripa called me right after you asked her to go with you to the dance." Kiren entered the room watching Angad hop on his bed.

"Yaa, well it doesn't matter anyways, we might even break up tonight."

He watched Kiren jump on the bed with a changed expression.

"Are you serious? I mean tonight, like isn't that to fast." Kiren asked.

"Ah no it isn't, and since when did you start caring to when I break up with my girlfriends?" Angad questioned as he rolled his eyes.

Kiren got rolled on the other side of the bed picking up a beautiful crystal frame. "Since the day you started to date my best friend."

Angad noticed the frame in Kiren's hand quickly got up and ran to the other side of the bed and got hold of the frame. And sat down on the bed. Kiren moved a little placing her head in her brother's lap. Angad held the photo frame in his hand that contained a picture of Kripa and him on the couch. It was from the day after Kripa's first date in Junior high. Kripa had dated one of Angad's closest friends, and that cost him because after Kripa dumped him Angad had a little fist fight with the boy over a littler argument over Kripa.

As Angad thought about old times a smile appeared on his face. "You really love her don't you?"

Angad placed back the photo frame and now looked down at his little sister and kind of shuffled her hair. "Off course I do, I mean she like the closest friend I've ever had. And even if we're not in this relation latter on, we'll still remain friends. And we both know that. Now know more talking we've got to go downstairs before this friend of ours comes chasing us up here."

Kiren and Angad just smile at each together and head down stairs for lunch.

Part4

After half an hour everyone was done lunch and were sitting in the Family room watching a movie. Sanjaana was in Kiren's lap on the floor. And Angad and Kripa were on the couch. Sumit and Anjali were also in the room. In the middle of the movie. Angad moved closer to Kripa. And formed his arms around her.

"ANGAD what are you doing? Let go of me!" Kripa wispeared, try to move away from Angad.

"shhh… chill would you! I have to talk to you…"

"about what? Kripa asked now looking at him.

Angad looked at her eyes, and didn't say anything.

"Ahm, ahm" Kiren said as she broke the trance.

Noticing that it was Kirin Angad Kicked from the back.

"Meet me out side in the back patch after the stupid movie finishes" and saying that he gets up and leaves the room.

Kripa watches him leave, and as soon as he does Kiren moves to the couch with Kripa. "What was that about?"

Kripa looked at Kiren thinking what was going in her head at the moment. Kripa new Kiren and Angad are really close. They always tell everything to each other. And she was sure Angad had told Kiren something about her, but she also knew that no matter how much she would ask Kirin would never spill a word. "What was what about?"

No it was Kirin's turn to think what was going on in her head.

Soon the movie was over and every one headed there own ways Kripa some how got out of Kirin's sight and went to see Angad.

As she walked toward the back side of the house, she noticed Angad sitting on the bench talking to some on his cell phone. As she walked closer she could kind of hear his conversation, she couldn't really tell who he was talking to but when he said "Bi Mohan!" a sudden smile spread over her face hearing his name. After hi hung up. She went and sat next to him with a bright smile.

They didn't talk for a few minutes but then Kripa broke the ice by asking how's Mohan. Angad didn't reply so Kripa looked at him and asked again "how's Mohan?" When he didn't say anything again she turned and looked at him. He wasn't paying attention at all. "Angad!" she put her hand on his.

Angad felt some movemeant and got out of his trance.

"What?" he asked confused

"For the third time, how's Mohan?" Kripa asked slightly annoyed.

"Ah… he's good; in fact I was just talking to him." Now finally realizing Kripa beside him

"Ya I know, I heared you two talking." Kripa said as she shifted back a bit away from him.

He cleared his throught to speak "umm Kripa I have to talk to you… about us"

"oh no is he going to break up with me? But that's what I want… right? Yes that is what I want… I think" Kripa thought as her face changed expressions.

"Ok… what?" She asked out loud not sure if she wanted to here what he was going to say.

"well this whole boy friend girl friend thing doesn't seem to work between us… soo I was thinking if we should just call it off." He waited for her reaction.

For some reason Kripa felt relief, she was happy. Well... I think your right ti mean this whole thing wasn't turning out to the way I planned it too and all... so I think we should just…"

Angad was surprised but happy that Kripa felt the same way. But he was afraid if things would be the same "But I was hopping this whole thing wouldn't affect our friendship and all... Right?"

"of course not stupid! I would never stop being your friend for the world!"

Kripa said as she tried to lighten up the situation.

"Oh, Kripa I love you so much!" Angad sounded happy as he pulled her into a tight hug.

SO yap… they were both free to go, and move on in there lives.

That night when Kripa returned home Kripa was happy to know that everything went well between her and Angad. She was glad that Angad and Kripa were still great friends. And she was also happy because she was free like a bird!! She smiled big as she sat down on her computer and sighned in.

Mohan Says: hey Kripa!

Kripa Says: Hey Mohan, how are you? I'm missing you a lot.

Mohan Says: Ya I know me to.

Kripa Says: Why didn't you come back with Kiren?

Mohan Says: Well, I had grad and all and I didn't want to miss it.

Kripa Says: Oh ok… So what college do you plan to go to?

Mohan Says: Well that's what I was thinking and I have decided to come back to India and finish over there.

Kripa Says: OMG are you seriouse!!!! Im so happy Mohan!! When are you coming??

Mohan Says: Next week.

Kripa Says: Well call me and tell me the time and other stuff so I can come recive you ok?

Mohan Says: I have to go now. but ya I'll let you in about the time and all!!!

With that Kripa turns off the computer screen and puses her chair back and jumps on the med in excitement!

"I can't believe it Mohan is coming back to India!! Finally, I haven't seen him in ages"

End of Flash Back---------

Ring Ring…

The telephone was ringing brought Kripa back from her old memories.

Kripa quickly got up and went to answer the phone.

"Hello" Kripa greeted in a dull voice.

"Hey Kripa, Sameer here." A very pleasant voice answered from the other said of the phone.

"Oh hello Sameer, dad told me you were going to call sometime soon. So when would you like me to come and pick up the ticket and all?" asked Kripa.

Sameer-"Umm… Well actually I was around the neighborhood and so I was thinking if your not busy I can drop by you apartment now and give you the tickets and the a file your father asked me to give to you?"

"Yes of course any time at all Sameer." Kripa replied unsure if she wanted to see any one at the hour.

After saying her good bys she hung up and walked her way to the kitchen draining her half cup of left over coffee in the sink. Before she knew it there was a door bell, and as she expected it was Sameer.

Sameer didn't really come in as he said he was in a hurry he just gave her what he came there to give and left. The first thing Kripa did when Sameer left she opened the ticket and looked at the day her flight was. Which at her surprise was tomorrow evening. She didn't want to leave that fast but she knew there was absolute no way out this time.

With out thinking any farther she left to her room making a few e-mails to close friends and letting them know she was leaving. Then she opened her wardrobe and took out a few cloths and packed them. She didn't want to take along too many cloths since she knew she wouldn't be able to resist shopping in India. Since it was her VERY FAVORITE thing to do. YES Kripa Sherma could've changed in every way any person could imagine but a few thing she was never able to change and 1 of them was her love towards shopping. She smiled at her thought and after packing a few other important things she fell a sleep, without dinner.

Ever since Kripa moved to the US she had started to skip a lot of meals, which had started to affect her health. Any body who would see her after a long time would be able to tell she wasn't eating properly.
