My question is about how the CVs present a scene for viewers perception. I'm discussing two instances in NBT, where i thought it was blatant cheating and not a genuine twist in the tale.
Ist Instance:
I'm sure most of us remember the Khoon Bhari Maang and Mantra scene wala episode. Towards the end of episode Megha is shown to make a decision but full detail is not revealed.
The Viewers, who don't have accept to the Internet and these Articles, would have thought that Megha is deciding in favour Mohan. So viewers would have been so excited to see megha taking the decision but then a shocker will await them, when Megha says she can't marry Mohan for some reasons.
Since we knew what is going to happen, we were head-desking for showing not only stupid but unnecessary Cliche, when she is not even going to do it in his favour.
2nd Instance:
Now last episode, the Manav-Mitika angle, the scene were shown in very mysterious, suspectable manner. Manav's dialogues over phone makes the viewers even more doubtful. "Tumhare baare me ghar pe nahi bata saktha" and few more dialogues - completely misleading ones. Why would such a thing be said to a friend seeking help? Iske ke baare mein ghar ke logon (woh bhi Vyas parivar) ko bataane kya zaroorat😕. From the article we know she is a friend seeking help. Then this dialogue is surely to mislead the viewers(who don't have access to these articles) into thinking that Manav has some affair with this girl and mohan will find the truth and stop the Shagun on time.
Just to give some excitement, they are doing these things. My question is - Is this correct? Is this a creative Strategy or cheating the viewers?
Having a suspense about the track is good. But is this correct to fool the viewers by giving misleading signals/symbolism/dialogues? Or am I even right in calling this "fooling the viewers" or cheating?
What is your opinion on these?
