I'm pretty sure Kushal shaved his head bald. Am I wrong??

But I'm unsure about Nia. Did she really cut off her hair or is it just make up or sumthing?

yeah she didnt...i think its very difficult for any girl actress to do that...boys can carry bald look with pride..dey look hot with it and kushal surely does but girls are not really comfortable without hair in any stage..

kushal did, nia wore a prosthetic, but it still requires guts for a girl to carry that look, esp on tv!
