Make a Scene # 2 Alanta's Take

So Presenting Madam Alanta...aka Roshni's dreamland sequence!!!!!

Background:

Kesar- Talli marriage is fixed. Kesar is in a dilemma. He had wanted to hurt Gulaal and that had prompted him to take an impulsive decision but now everything had changed. The thought of never seeing Gulaal's face had brought him back to his senses. He was now scared and restless. How could he ever live without her? He could not marry Talli'..How could he have ever thought that he would be able to give the place to some one else other than his Gulaal. Gulaal was his wife. No one could ever take her place'.ever. In the mean time Gulaal decides to give up her married status and goes back to the dull outfits, which made Kesar even more uncomfortable, and finally he announces his decision to the whole family that he is a married man

And Gulaal is his wife. Talli is not that unlucky to marry a married person

and also declared to Gulaal that no need to wear the faded outfits esp when he is alive and when Gulaal tries to protest even when shocked seeing him

Now...shuru...

Kesar said adamently" Muje kehne samjaane ki koi zaroorat nahi, sab samachne layak hun mein

Apne Kesar ki kasam khakar kaho Gulaal kaho ki, kya tu waqai main jhel payegi, jhel payegi Gulaal? apneKesar ko kisi aur ke sath dekhkar?

ek pal keliye bhuljaa ki, ki mein tera pathi hun, bhul jaaki kabhi na kabhi hamara DV bhi hua tha

sab kuch bhul jaa...

samaj ke saamne hamare rishtha, tere diye hue waadein...

tu ne kabhi socha hai Gualaal?

Zara soch Gulaal agar mere upar tera jo haq hein, who dheere dheere kisi aur kaho jaayega tab? Tu ne kabhi socha hein,..

Ki ek din aisa bhi aayega jab tu tere Kesar ko apna kehne ka haq hamesha hamesha keliye kho degi ???

Bol Gulaal ??????

Chup kyun heiin tuh

Muje tere muh se sunna hein

Gulaal(confused and nervous): Lekin Kesar.. mein..

Tu kuch nahin jaantha Kesar.. uss DV ke barein main, uss waqt ke bare main

Meri halaath ke barein main

woh DV sirf meri majboori thi Kesar

mein nahin chahthi ki kisi bhi majboori ki wajai se tu ek anchaahe rishthe ko zindgi bhar jel le

nahin Kesar

uss waqt teri rai nahin pooch sakthi thi mein, lekin ab mein who galathi doharaana nahin chahthi, tujpe main apna koi bhi faisla thopna nahin chahthi Kesar (tried to reassure him)

koi bhi tujpe zor nahin dalega

Kesar (sarcastic smile): Toh ab tu kya kar rahi hein Gulaal?

Mere rai jaane ke bina meri shaadi Talli se tey kar diya!!!

Mein kisse pyaar karu, kisse shaadi karun? Yeh faisla bhi khud lene ka adhikaar nahin hen muje?

[Sudha interferes: Sudha questions him about him and Talli, Kesar gives explanation that he has always considered Talli as his true friend but nothing more or less and he apologizes whole heartedly for the misunderstandings, though Sudha doesn't seem convinced]

He then comes back to Gulaal

[Gulaal agrees that she did a great mistake and then promises him that she will support him for whomever he loves (if any)]

Gulaal: Tu jo chahega wahin hoga..

[she tells him that he doesn't need to worry about the DV and their status in the society, it is worth anymore she will handle the situation and then she says to herself that it is time to fullfil the promise she had given to Panba long before, regarding Kesar's marriage]

Kesar calms down

[silence]

(After some time, breaking the silence)

Talli asks him weeping: Kya mein ithna jaan sakthi hun Kesar,..ki.. aakhir kya kharaabi hein mujmein ? Kahona Kesar, kya kharabhi hein mujmein ki tu mujse kabhi pyaar nahin kar saktha???

[Kesar closed his eyes for a moment, and regained himself, opened his eyes where his stares were fixed at Gulaal who was standing in front of him, confused and with a strange sort of fear, enveloping her eyes, which was clearly evident for him]

Kesar: (in a calm but determined voice) ,.. Talli( and turns to her) kya tu jaanna chahthi hein ki, teri kammi kya hein? Yehi hein ki tu,.. tu meri Gulaal nahin hein .. aur kabhi ban bhi nahin sakthi.

(stepping slowly towards Gulaal in the meanwhile): Hamesha se sirf ek hi ladki se pyaar karthe aaya hun mein

na koi zarbadasthi,.. na koi majboori

yeh,.. yeh pyaar hein

his eyes had a new found shining and a slight excitement as he continues

mein..Mein

TUJSE PYAAR KARTHA HUN Gulaal (in a contented voice) apni, apniGulaal se

(looking at Gulaal with a self assured tone) :ithna toh haq bantha hein mera. Aur yeh haq mujse koi bhi nahin cheen saktha

Tu khud bhi nahin Gulaal!

Having said this, Kesar climbed the stairs leaving everyone shocked, while Gulaal stood there froze, staring at the empty space from where he had just left, fighting with her senses for whatever they have brought her, in the past few minutes..

Note: The first paragraph where the back ground is described is entirely written by Mini. This was a rough sketch and Mini has helped me a lot in modifying this . Thank u so much Mini 😳

Piu 🤗 Thank you so much Piu, am so glad that u liked it. Always wanted Gulaal to see Kesar's pov and speak for him , which was completely missing in the post leap. We knew why Gulaal was so attached to Talli, but she was so blind towards Kesar and his side of the story, and was becoming too stubborn to relate. If only she could make a try to think from Kesar's side.. His confession was a shock for her, but even before that she would have realised that she is forcing Kesar by fixing his marriage with Talli, without his knowledge or consent, at least there she could have become his Gulaal and support him and that was which lead me to write this.

I am so happy that u liked this.. I was a bit apprehensive to post this, because initially this was just a casually written exchanges, it was Mini who insisted me to post this here,.. and I am so grateful to her for the same.
