Who deals with FAILURE best in BOLLYWOOD?!

😕😆 I guess this is my introspective day on IF. Time to reflect and make some serious topics for a change. When we think of failure, it is hard to digest. No actor or actress wants their films to fail, just as a normal average person in real life doesn't want their job to go down the tube. But, which actors and actresses take failure maturely and handle it best in Bollywood? I think Shahrukh Khan is one actor who can't take failure well. Same goes for Salman. As for actresses, you can tell Bebo and Priyanka can't accept failure in good stride either. Is there anyone who is an exception to the rule? Please share your thoughts. 😲

Abhisekh Bacchan. All his films flop. Plus,he gets hate tweets one after another on twitter. In addition to that, he lives under the mighty shadows of a successiveful father and wife. I'm surprised the guy hasn't shot himself yet. He seems to take all of it in stride so far anyway so good for him.

Sonam. She just shrugs, goes her own way and continues having fun with her life. She's as shallow as a teaspoon but I kind of like that young woman.

Are you serious? She is always cribbing about being criticized and picks fights with anyone from Shobha De to Sonakshi. 😆😆

But that's an interesting take on Sonam nonetheless.

She reminds me of a good friend in LA, who is richer than Sonam, but equally snobby. Also a shallow and a shady person. However, she is extremely hard working at what she does.

Yeah true, she will fight back if attacked----and spoiled princess that she is, she seems to define "attacked" quite broadly---but I still get the feeling that failure from an acting standpoint matters not a bit to her. She really doesn't seem to give a rat's about being a good actor or an actor at all for that matter, but she sure as heck gets on her high-horse if anyone criticizes her personally.

Ya probably in the intital years when he had some flops and he completely reinvented himself. But off late have not seen him fail for quiet a long time.
Abhishek Bachchan also for me. although ppl continously pan him down he still manages a cool composure.

abhishek fo sho...
I think saif's pretty cool abt his failures too and also the fact tht he isnt as successful as the khans and prolly never will be and he seems okay with that and having a more successful galfriend too...dosent seem insecure when his films flop...dosent make silly comments and minds his own business in failure..and hes been facing quite a few lately,...AV, Arakshan, Kurbaan...etc etc...
Another one tht comes to mind is Akki...when he went through tht big flop phase in the last few years, he never said anything stupid or shot his mouth off...kept his head down and focused on his work and BAM...now hes back in the game with 2 hits...

While it is true that Abhishek takes failure sportingly well, Abhishek, Sonam or Aamir have not really seen failure the way some people in Bollywood have seen it.
It is the anonymous people, who come to Mumbai/or already are in Mumbai, with stars in their eyes, struggle for ages, do not get a break anywhere, and end up watching others get breaks - it is these anonymous people who see far more failure and angst. Some of them learn to cope with it, choosing to do other things, like theatre, or writing or getting into production and so on. Some don't cope with it very well. Some end up very badly - exploited, dependent on alcohol or drugs, working as extras or so on. Once in a while, a particularly sensational case makes the headlines - there was someone recently who was an extra on Heroine, who was kidnapped and killed. But for the majority, we don't even know their stories.

IMO the star kids who havent seen success in a big way generally take failure well. They didnt really have to work hard to get a shot at stardom and know they have their connections to fall back upon even if they have 10 failures.
