Vikram Acharya - the leading guy in Mahe Ve

The dashing TV star Vikram Acharya (Dil Kyaa Chahta Hai and Apni Tuning Jamegi fame) looks a busy bee these days. What keeps him much busy currently is of course the new show, 'Mahi Ve' for Sony Sab Channel where Acharya is enacting the main lead. An Edit 2 Productions, 'Mahe Ve' is a daily soap and is set in Ludhiana.

"This show is a family drama and has a Ludhiana backdrop. It is for the first time that I am playing this kind of a character," says Vikram who thinks his character is quite different from him. "He is quite calm and composed and knows what he want," utters Vikram Acharya.

On the question of what made him to go for this character? He replies, "I don't want to be type-cast. I am an actor and love playing different people."

'Mahe Ve' also features Karishma Seema Shetty, Kulbhushan Kharbanda and Tarun Khanna. Laced with many good projects, Vikram is finalizing with some colossal production houses too for numerous acting tasks.
