When Maan woke up early next morning in the cottage,his hands moved unconsciously to feel Geet's body...but he was in for a shock to sense no one beside him.He got up with a start but felt his head heavy & vision blur.It was only after sometime that he could see clearly.He was utterly shocked to find Geet nowhere in the cottage!Her clothes were not there where he had thrown them last night...
"What happened last night...I knew we came to this cottage last night...was Geet still angry with me..Oh God!Why can't I remember anything!!!!!" Maan was irritated with himself.He strained his memory & remembered in bits & pieces that they were in the rain..& she had kissed him..He immediately dialed her number but it was coming switched off...& Geet would not do such a thing unless she chose to leave him.."Aisa kyun kiya Geet!!!!!!!She has left me!!!!Geet mujhe chodkar chali gayi!!!!!!" he exclaimed bitterly,very hurt.
He came out of the cottage & as expected her car was also missing..Maan made his way outside the jungle on to the road.He was shocked as he saw his car along with his bodyguards waiting for him.Maan guessed that Geet might only have sent them..He looked at his bodyguards but they did not dare to look at him as they sensed he was burning in anger.Without saying a word,Maan headed inside the car & the driver drove straight towards Khurana Mansion...
As he reached the Mansion,instead of going inside,he headed to the outhouse.Annie & Rhea who was there sitting in the garden saw him,his eyes were red with anger...Rhea was perplexed while Annie looked worried..Maan ordered the security guards outside the Mansion,to not allow anybody in,at any cost!
"Enough is Enough!!!!" exclaiming Maan fuming as he banged the desk of the outhouse office."Enough of this hide-and-seek game!!!I have to expose Dev!!!But how!!!!" He took a deep breath, "Calm Down Maan!You have to think really hard!!No one is perfect,there is definitely a clue somewhere which you are missing but what!!Birju has not yet called,I am banking on Gopal,if I come to know anything about him,then it might help!"
He sat in his chair twirling the glass pebble,which was kept on the table, with his fingers immersing himself in deep thought.He decided to run all the facts in his mind right from the beginning when the factory was burnt.
"So Strange!so very strange!!I really thought that Dad burnt Dev's factory!In a way,I was happy because it paved way for KC.I did not even think of connecting the burnt factory with the drug scandle that year!All was going smoothly,I ran KC & did everything which gave me pleasure..until the day Dadima made the shocking will.She wanted me to settle in life!Then I did not mind ruining Geet's life for money & power.She was absolutely a pawn for me.When i came here to marry Geet ,I ,by stark co-incidence,got to know Dev burnt the factory & not Dad.I wanted to know why Dev did that...& interestingly even Geet mentioned about the factory two days later when we were locked in my cabin for one night because of the power-cut.She expressed her doubts regarding the disappeared shoes...which pricked my ears instantly.I delved into the facts of the missing shoes & sure enough,the entire truth was before my eyes...I hired Birju who agreed to find more about Dev if I paid him well.He was not able to trace Dev fast but he somehow came to know the police officer GUPTA who had left the factory case mid-way was still alive whence I thought Dev had killed him as he might have known that Gupta knew the truth!!I at once told Birju to find Gupta for me while I was in the village with Geet..I got a shock when Birju informed me that police had caught him & Gupta was in their custody..How did the police come to know of Birju given that he worked so slyly & excellently...I feared that Gupta might give the police wrong information,stating me as a culprit to them...but surprisingly police never tailed me...then the trip to Pondicherry was made & out of nowhere Gopal started stalking us...& even stalked the Mansion..I am sure he stole the CD for Dev as I chased Gopal the same night when the CD was stolen.Now it's very important for me to know about Gopal...Why do I feel that there is one thing common in the whole story but what..."
Maan pondered deeply.Just then his thoughts were interrupted when his phone rang.Seeing the caller as Birju,he immediately picked it up...
"Birju??...What you came to know about Gopal!!!Tell me!!Tell me quickly!"
Birju told him.The eagerness in Maan's face was replaced by shock once Birju completed his say
"Are you sure?100% at what your saying?"
Birju nodded & Maan rang off...The shock faded away & a smirk graced Maan.
"That means my assumptions about Gopal were true...The game will end within tomorrow & I promise that..."
Maan had finally found the common link in the whole story...

"Bas buhot ho gaya!"shouted Dev,"I will do only that which I want to do!!!!"
Rhea was shocked in that manner "Dev,you can't do this!!"
"You are not going to tell me what I am supposed to do & not!!!understand????"
"But Dev--"
"Enough Rhea!!!Don't even dare to interfere in anything!!!"
"I am your wife Dev!!"
"As if I care now!!" he was furious.
"Listen Dev.." Rhea clutched his arms...

Maan had a dour look on his face as he proceeded towards the study room of Khurana Mansion.Dev crossed his path at a turn along the coridoor.
"So sad!You know I didn't want to tell Geet about the will,but I had to stop her from completing the New York project,right?.Now toh you neither have Geet by your side nor the New York project will happen tomorrow.And most importantly,no marriage day after tomorrow & moral of the story meet Mr Dev Khurana,the new M.D & Owner of Khurana Constructions!" Dev completed with an evil smirk.
For the first few moments,Maan watched him closely which seemed to unconsciously startle Dev.Then Maan replied with a smirk,
"Actually you know what,there is a problem,I did not learn to lose.Whatever I want,I will get it anyhow,no matter what!You have done whatever you wanted to do,now it's my turn,so wait & watch!!" Maan prepared to leave but he paused & looked at Dev again,"And yes,Geet is not in my life anymore!!"
Dev watched him as Maan ushered in the study room..

"Nahi waise toh everything is alright but the most important thing is yet unsolved,how to enter Mr Maan Khurana's room,these security system!Uff!I need someone to help me out!But who?" said Gopal to himself,running his hands accross his beard, as he sat in his jeep at a distance away looking at KM.
Just then he saw Annie walking outside the Mansion gates. She did not see him as she was engrossed into some thinking.As soon as she neared him,he quickly blocked her way with his jeep.Annie was startled to see Gopal in front of her sitting in the jeep.This was the first time they had come face to face.
"I need to talk to you!Get in the jeep!"
Annie heard his voice for the very first time.It was so manly,so good & perhaps sexy...Her heart skipped a beat.Staring at him,she obeyed him & sat on the seat next to him.
"Now very carefully listen to what I say!!!"
She nodded abruptly.He told her.As he finished,the colour on her face began to fade away.
"But why???"
"I can't tell you that!Waise it's a very easy task,but a very important one!Will you do it??"
"But why??" asked Annie again.
"Tell me!Will you do it???" asked Gopal,impatiently.
"O-Okay,fine,I-I am ready!!" Annie agreed with a sigh.
Gopal gave a sly smile, "Good!Now lead me inside the Mansion without anyone seeing us...!"

(Study Room)
"Thik hai Maan bete,I am...I am changing the will!You are the sole owner of Khurana Construction...even if you marry Geet or not.." Dadima completed with a heavy voice & left the room with an expressionless face.
Yash stood there stoned to the floor,stunned at what he had just heard from his mom while Maan smirked calmly.
"What is all this Maan!!!I was trying to get your Dadima change the will from so many months & she agreed to do so with your one say!!"
Maan was still smirking.He prepared to leave. Yash stopped him
"Where is Geet?Where did you two disappear yestarday after the dance when your marriage announcement was supposed to be made."
"I don't know where Geet is!You were wrong,she left me!"
Yash was shocked,"Didn't you try to find out where she is?"
"Don't worry Dad,this is not the first time she has disappeared without informing anyone,she had done it once before too!I am used to it!"
Maan left leaving a puzzled look on his face.Today Maan behaved entirely strange...

It was night time at Khurana Mansion.Maan was standing near the window of his room,his hands gripped the window railings firmly "Tum meri ho Geet!!!Sirf aur sirf meri!!!".Just then Annie entered his room.
"Bhai..."she called out in a fragile voice.
Maan turned around to face a scared Annie.
"What happened?Why are you so scared??"asked Maan surprised
"Bhai.." Annie ran to him & hugged him.
"What happened??Will you tell??"
"Bhai..woh mein..woh mein.."

It was close to midnight.In the dark coridoors & staircases of the Khurana Mansion,the atmosphere was abnormally chill giving a sinster feeling...a lone figure trudged towards Maan's room with heavy but hush steps,having an evil smile on the face,a deadly injection in one hand.The injection was filled with a poison which would kill the prey immediately...MSK was the prey...
