Why does Ranveer want to set up a 500 room 5-star hotel in Mt. Abu, it's a hair-brained idea. The project would bomb and probably take down the Walia group along with it. Munna should sack Ranveer forthwith for sheer stupidity if not for breaking his trust. I think it would be a good idea to make Rano in charge of his hotels company and give her coffee shop project to Ranveer, that's the only thing he is good for. In yesterdays episode, Ranveer says that he got Rs. 33 crores for selling the Mt. Abu land to the business partner. Now exactly how much land did the Dixits own- Rs. 33 crores would be the worth of the entire town probably. Now Munna has asked Ranveer to buy back the land for Rs. 50 crores- of the total loss of Rs. 17 crores, Ranveer will probably pocket half and the shady business partners the balance. But I think the loss is worth it, Munna would probably make a bigger loss in pure financial terms alone if he goes ahead with the project, not to speak of the hurt to his love.
But anyyay, I think Munna has got off lightly, Ranveer could have got Munnas sign on his entire property, Munna would be more careful while signing papers in future. So I don't think we are going to see Munna on the roads anytime soon in KS.
But I am impressed with Ranveer's resourcefulness within minutes of getting Munnas sign he had the property transferred to the new company- he really knows how to get around the Indian courts and land offices.
The sisters are very distressed about the destruction of their house and sale of land. I don't get it- Munna had the house demolished the very day after the wedding and had announced a casino on the plot. In fact to rub it in, he had made Munni the project manager. So why the hue and cry now. Had Munna had some point of time promised to restore the house to the sisters- at least no such thing has been searched with us. I also remember that Munni had made Munna promise in public that he would have an orphanage made on the land next to it. What happened to that.
I guess that with Park Road and all that, this sub-plot has been lost by the creatives.
