Today's episode was a good episode, it unraveled many people's feelings. It gave an insight on some relationships that there are, and some to be formed. To start with, let's talk about Pankhuri's feelings.
Pankhuri
She really didn't get what she had expected from her meeting with Aditya. She had thought that they will have a sweet convo, regarding their hobbies, likes and dislikes and other things. But their meeting was a little too practical, it was justified on Adi's part but for Pankhuri it raised many questions in her mind. I loved Disha's expressions, she is doing a fab job. 👏
Aditya
He was very practical and straight forward in his approach, he isn't one of those guys who will be swayed easily by small things like Pankhuri saying she didn't to see Adi's license to see his honesty. He doesn't know how to sweet talk, and that is a good quality according to me because he doesn't deceive.
Purshottam
We got to see why Nana is so concerned about Adi. Nana doesn't want Adi to go through what his kids went through. And so he realizes that Adi needs someone who will bring the happiness back in his life. I loved how Nana regrets his mistakes, but he is trying his best to change what he can. The fact that he shared his thoughts with Shanky was very sweet, because I don't think anyone other than Shanky can understand Nana this well.
Preeti
A child is like wet clay, you can mold it in any way or shape. Preeti was the one who never got anyone to mold her. Maybe that is why she tries to love Adi, because she wants to give the love that she didn't receive. And she is fully justified in holding a grudge against Avantika because I don't think Avantika has ever tried to mend her relationship with her sister.
Episode Analysis
Adi's practical approach has confused Pankhuri and I am not sure what will change her impression of Adi now. Adi was discussing income, and divorce settlement in a meeting to finalize their rishta, which was very awkward in Pankhuri's point of view, because she has never gone through such things. Which raises a question in my mind, do the Guptas know that Harish and Avantika are divorced? 😕
Mamaji really does not like Adi, and so it seems that he will try his best to not let this rishta happen, though he is only doing this for Pankhuri's well being. Mamaji didn't even help find Farpe (Frappe) for Adi, not even chutki baja ke. 😆 Now what will happen that will make Pankhuri agree to this shaadi is a mystery.
Everyone else has only seen Adi's good qualities, while Pankhuri and Mamaji have seen Adi's rude side. He can actually be really rude, but I don't blame him. This was the first time I saw the guy ask for more time than fifteen minutes and then he shot back that they only had privacy for 2 minutes. 😆
I liked the fact that Avantika took the initiative to talk to Pankhuri and start a conversation. I am looking forward to how their relationship will develop because I don't think that Avantika will be the typical saas who taunts her DIL at every chance she gets.
Preeti has grudges from her life and family and like Adi no one has really helped her heal those hurts. That is why Adi and Preeti get along so well because they both have been hurt since childhood and no one was ever their to tend their wounds, or wipe away their tears.
Nana let out his frustrations today and I think that he is also one of our complex characters. He has a back story and it will be interesting to find out more about him and his mistakes.
Precap: Mamaji taking the reins back in his hands or should I say emotionally blackmailing them. I am glad that Pankhuri went and told her family and that is what I expected from her, because now their rishta will only be formed on the basis of truth and hope. Let's see how the story goes forward from here.
