Thats when he gets up runs towards shyam and starts punching him. I guess in all the anger and fight he didnt bother to see the face which was prolly the more important and smarter thing to do. It was the same scene where they cover his face so he never had a chance again. And yeah he doesnt hear khushi telling him abt shyam on the phone. Also till now they havent shown arnav think out loud abt the kidnapper. Whenever they show his scenes (which were so less), he always had khushi on his mind. So Arnav does not know his kidnapper is Shyam.

arnav doesnt know guys that kidnapper is shyam..when he pulls shyam towards him in the fight..he couldnt see his face..it was shown..light was on arnav's face n shyam's face was in dark'n if u guys remember shyam never spoke a word before that fight sequence when arnav was unconscious even then'he was just talking thru signs..so no..arnav doesnt know...

maybe what you're saying is true. But the director conveyed a wrong message to me.
