I'd understand if poor, uneducated and illiterate people were obsessing with these fairness creams but what the f**k is wrong with Asin and other celebs who are endorsing such pathetic products? Seriously, India has become so darn progressive

Asin is looking really nice in pictures , even if she has been brand ambassador but we have not seen any ad of her yet . trust me any cream related to "fair Word" is kinda chintzy .

What has progress got anything to do with it? It's all about the amount of money.
The amount they earn by endorsing a single brand is more than what they earn by doing an entire film. I don't know about Asin's remuneration, but for a superstar like SRK, who endorses 'Fair & Handsome', it can mean around INR 10 Crores for endorsing that brand.
How many people will be willing to say 'No', if someone offers them INR 10 Crore for a few days of ad shoot?
