Ok here it goes
-Haniya lives in Chicago, US
-She has a big sis named Yemina, and her parents die in the first eppisode in a car accident
-Yemina is married to this psycho called Adam (they eventually get divorced but ugh he was so disgusting)
-Haniya is really close to her dadi so she decides to shift with her in New York, where she starts studying at Columbia universtity (i think in engineering or architecture)
-Ebad who has lived all his life in Pakistan decides to go to Columbia to do engineering (he loves his parents A LOT)
-There he meets Haniya
-They start hanging out, at first she is creeped out by him...but eventually they fall in love with e/o
-However Ebad's parents already fixed his marriage with his cousin, but they never told Ebad about it
-So when he goes to Pakistan to tell them that he wants to marry this girl, they're upset and his dad is super angry...but on that same day, Ebad gets engaged to his cousin because his mom told him ke tumhare papa a izaat ka sawaal hai...tum abhi engagement karlo, bad mein dekhen ge
-So Ebad returns to the US and he's upset ke he got engaged to his cousin
-Haniya's grandma falls really sick and is about to die aur uski aakri khwawish hai ke she sees Haniya and Ebad's wedding
-So Ebad is torn...he calls his mom and says that he's getting married
-Ebad's dad disowns him
-They get married
-The grandma eventually dies some time after
-They live a happy life
-After some time, Ebad decides to go to pakistan so he can manao (idk the word in english) his father
-but ebad dies in a car accident
-Haniya goes crazy and is in denial about his death
-After a couple of months, she decides to go to Pak so that she can share the pain and sorrow that Ebad's parents are suffering
-She applies to work at the firm where Ebad's dad is the owner...but she doesn't tell him that she is her son's wife
-She impresses him and he really likes her work
-Haniya is staying at her uncle's, but they have to go to canada so Haniya's uncle and aunty ask Ebad's parents if she can stay with them since Haniya has really developed a nice relationship with Ebad's parents
-She lives with them for a couple of months
-Finally Ebad's dad sees her in Ebad's room crying
-He realizes that SHE is his bahu
-He accepts her
-The end!
