Also, when things are explained in the right mood...you can really come across to a person much different then if they are hurt or angry. So if Palak was happy with the party and then later Aarti try to explain to her that she really can't bring back her mother but she can be her mother, she can do everything her mom did and love her the same only if Palak gives her the chance. Palak might have accepted it, because her mood was happy and good. So, yes the party did play a role in Aarti finally getting through to Palak. But its all ruined now.
