I just read the book and really liked it. Although the story is not something the book really showcases the problems a boy and girl face from different communities. If well directed and followed as per the book, the movie would def. be a sure shot hit.

Im glad Imran is out, mainly bcz he lacks the screen presence required for this role. SRK, Salman or Aamir are too old to play the male character since he is a college student. I guess Ranbir Kapoor could pull off this role very well.

Among the actresses, I would choose Anuska Sharma, since the female lead requires to be an intelligent, bold and educated tamilian. Anushka has tht confident personality. also she is supposed to be a fair tamilian. Deepika wud had been the obvious choice but she is not tht a good actress compared to Anushka and Vidya would look too old for tht role IMO.
