Hi! All,
After reading some posts yesterday, I felt there is a need to remind some people of her importance in the show 'Parichay - Nayi Zindagi kay sapno ka'. Sure, the show is about Kunal Chopra. The initial promos showed only Kunal and his struggle with his first love and a beaten career. So, we were assured that the fallen hero will rise and this show will portray that 'journey'.
Like Noreen pointed out, the show itself started with Siddhi's narration while she watched the to be two most important men in her life trying to protect each other from the police. So, siddhi's importance in the show was established in the first episode itself. We knew she would be the reason our fallen hero would rise. 😃
Siddhi's characterization in the beginning was very confident, no nonsense attitude, childish and playful at times, puts family before herself, romantic and very friendly. She fell in love with Anand because of his good nature and attitude and love towards his family. She had to face obstacles in the name of Kunal to marry Anand. Kunal and Siddhi were all the time at war during this phase but there were instances when siddhi controlled Kunal even during this time👏. Kunal finally agrees for their marriage but Anand dies on the day of their marriage.😲 😭
Here, I think Siddhi's nature and characterization took a serious turn. She suddenly became a serious person and her marriage to Kunal forced her to be more mature and responsible. All the lectures she gives kunal on Karva chaut, raveena's marriage, etc stemmed from the maturity she gained due to Anand's loss and responsibility of a bahu to the chopra's😔. Slowly, we saw her falling in love with Kunal and there her insecurities were exposed.. she was jealous whenever kunal was with richa and there was a vulnerability in her characterization. After the consummation and the divorce issue, she was shown to become an akdoo herself to deal with her akdoo husband. She did succeed mostly in getting kunal's attention😉😆.
Now, after confession, she is being shown as romantic, arrogant and trouble making person because I feel deep down, that is her true personality. Siddhi's character now is more in line with her age and there is a care-free attitude in her personality now because most of her insecurities have been dealt with👍🏼. She need not act mature than her age because she knows Kunal loves her and cannot live without her. Now, I feel she is the Siddhi Anand fell in love with. More true to her nature. I personally love this naughty side of siddhi than the mature side. I am loving the tantrums and the internal conflict she is going through. She knows Kunal will always be there for her and this has brought out a different kind of confidence in her personality which is making her more adventurous. She is posing challenges to Kunal and I prefer Kunal to be mature and handle siddhi like he is doing now👏. Why should the wife always be mature? Let her throw some tantrums and we can watch kunal handle them!😳 Also, I don't want siddhi to hide anything from Kunal in future😡. Lets see how her character shapes up in future.
Siddhi affected Kunal in a way no one else has⭐️. She brought out each and every lost or hidden aspect of Kunal's character, polished it and refined it enabling us to love Kunal chopra so much. I personally think that there is no parichay of Kunal Chopra without Siddhi Chopra. So far, their love story has been given more importance and in fututre, I am sure the professional aspect of Kunal will also be shown of course with Siddhi's help. Whatever be the track, I would never want both of them to separate. No other person can bring the life into KC's character like Siddhi and their love is unconditional!!👏 Love you Siddhi!!😃
