I don't think actual age matters, as long as they actually look good together on screen.

My mom actually always says this. She says what she has noticed the most about bollywood films is how the actor is always way older than the actress. She said this watching Srk, Salman movies.

I think Salman-Sonakshi looked good, Katrina-Akshay always looked good...

But Salman-Sneha Ullal looked bad. And I'm worried that the same might happen with Srk-Katrina in London Ishq .But maybe it's a chemistry thing after all. The same age difference is there between Salman-Katrina but they don't look that bad together on screen. But seeing pictures of London Ishq, I felt like Srk looked too old. I hope it doesn't affect the movie.

It's funny because he used to look younger than his age when he started...and he started pretty late (although there's not a typical age to start in acting as it is in modeling) ... he was in his late 20's ...but could easily pass for a 17y.old boy...and I loved his voice at that time...so sexy...

Starting 2005 onwards...he aged drastically...I wonder what the cause was...one thing that contributes to aging is... lack of sleep...and SRK notoriously says that he sleeps 3 to 4 hours a night...W*F???

On the other hand...Akshay says that he goes to bed by 9pm most nights...and it shows...and that's the big difference between those 2.

Also, maybe SRK started feeling the pressure of his #1 status being threatened...which gave him more stress...and we all know how competitive he is.

So overall I think Akshay's "younger look" gives him an advantage over SRK...and that's why I think he gets less flack for romancing younger girls on screen.
