If the dirty picture capitalised on entertainment ,entertainment ,entertainment..for our hitler,its always family ,family,family! and she always proves it time and yet again..'.Baaki ladkiyon mein jo alag hain' -my favourite line of the day.There was an iota of truth in that statement.I couldnt find clones of indira anywhere along the telly as no one else could do it the way rati di does it..Strictly no one! I did find appeal in mother india aka prerna long time ago,she impressed -the actress shweta is my fav,no offence- The only thing lacking was my failure to connect with the story thus its epi by epi wonder...Here,i feel for indira and i connect with her plights.
Coming back to today, apne toh apne hote hain was the song tht tinged in my head when the sharmas stood beside indira in support of her.the only antagonist for the song would be her dad,inder -an apne-turning full fledged villain.the song stopped right there and moved to my favourite khalbali..kya attitude,kya dialogues.One scene when she turned and looked at the sharmas after the bonding session as she was going up the stairs to prepare the cash totally threw me in awe.If dwelt deeper,it conveyed her -i know u well,my family-referring to the money greedy psyche of theirs-and it revealed yet i will do it bcos for me its always family,family and family .I totally respect her for that-my interpretation stems from that small reaction of hers.now,the big question is,if small expression are worth a few lines,i might have to write a book on her overall reactions .Such is the shakti of rati di s acting.Before i veer further,indira s entry with the dialogue-courage filled and the swift turn to kutumb s bruises-concern faced was timely genuine. effectively capturing rati di!.She hits it double during the convo with kutumb ,this time in reverse.First she stumped at inder in an angry mode and totally turned loving indu with kutumb.The total switch on and off of hers is still a mystery to me in terms of execution.mystery breaker ,how does she manage it so genuinely?haila,some mysteries remain a secret when it comes to the best,i guess..ill leave it to that..Must i say more about her encounter with kukreja?..i think everyone expressed her finesse there.ill share mine too,She was totally a hitler don there,forget fearing him,she even belittled him with her supari dialogues-her expressions is worth rewatches for umpteen times there.The whole time ,she was just gazing at him and busily meddling the money bag -im a craze for actors of this calibre whom can be so at ease with their body movement when they are throwing dialogues..reason,its very natural and naturality though is rati di s inborn quality,na!-.
Now,the million dollar question,why isnt she getting awards? whom else could do this better than her?-I got my answers now.the awards dont deserve her,thats all! i care less now...she is way too talented for them. I have asserted the point many times and ill do it again today.She lives the character.Not once did i ever feel any sort of disconnection.Her microexpressions display everything that is InDira and indira is someone ill analyse everyday not only because i like the character but because i live with the character everytime HD is on...
