This seems more of a drama audition that a singer audition. And what was all that with the Abhijit guy?I felt so bad for him when he was being mercilessly teased that he started crying. The judges could have just cut it short instead of making him go on. The makers tried to project some other aspect to his personality by showing him cursing once he was leaving but to me that seemed more like bravado on the guy's part.

I agree with Sunidhi when that girl (trained from age 3) sang. She can sing only a particular genre. I am sure she will be knocked out in the second stage

Very boring. Not many good singers. too much drama. Kolkata day 1 was great.

That is true. But lets wait and watch. Though I think they show the auditions of almost all the really good ones

felt really bad when the police guy started crying, for others it was a singing reality show, but you could very clearly see that he was forced into choosing a profession that he didnt want to, and this was like his only chance to get out of that and be something he wants.

Judges esp anu malik should be a little more polite, its good to criticize and be frank but to mock and tease, thats something else.

the music teacher guy was quite good when he sang outside to hussain, wonder why he sang besura inside,

Yes, I felt bad for the police guy too. But none of the singers in this round were sensational. Even the ones that were chosen were quite ordinary. We saw much better singers in the last 3 episodes.

Yeah, some like the police guy are serious and have dreams but are not up to mark. I feel bad for such people but unless they can really measure up. it is better that they get their heart broken and find a proper career
