Arhi FF-The Bride-Chapter 11

Arnav Singh Raizada had never had this strong a urge to kill anyone until today, he wanted to murder Khushi right now, if not for her, he wouldnt be standing here and listening to his Di lecture him about the importance of a honeymoon.

"She's your wife Arnav, she deserves a chance to spend some time with you alone and understand you, and it is a must that newly-weds go for it."

"Di, how many times do I need to tell you? We are not newly-weds, we have been wed for almost 5 years now"

"Arnav, I do not want to hear another excuse, you both are going and that is final"

"Not going"

"Di, its fine if Arnav doesnt want to go, its okay, I am fine with it"

Arnav stared at his wife, she looked pretty genuine but who understood her better then him? He knew she was up to something, she was planning something, he couldnt let her win,

"Wife, if you really want to go fine, then we'll go but only for a week"

"I am fine with it husband"

"Now thats a good husband, Arnav"

"Di, after this honeymoon, I am going to find a suitable groom for you and get you married, you and my wife sit and plot against me all day long dont you guys?"

"Husband you do not need to worry about finding Di, a groom"

"Why?"

"Arnav, Khushi means, why should you worry when we have elders for that?"

"Yes, Di we do have elders, those same elders who got me married to Khushi, and that turned around great didnt it?"

"What do you mean by that, that marrying me was a mistake?"

"Exactly, did you hear anything else?"

"Guys, stop fighting and we'll worry about my marriage after you guys come back okay?"

"Okay Di"

Di left the room laughing at the duo who behaved worst then 5 year old's,

"Wife, you are so damn annoying"

"Husband, you are so damn annoying and stupid"

"Where's my breakfast?"

"I am not your servant and d-uh breakfast will be on the breakfast table, sometimes you can be so dum, actually scratch that, you're always dum"

"You know I dont know what possessed me to agree to ever marry you, you are the most annoying creature I have ever come across"

"Atleast I am a creature and belong to this earth, you dont even belong here"

"Will you ever shutup?"

"When you know the answer why do you ask?"

"If I had known, I wouldnt have married you"

"Well, too late arent we?"

"Yes but every problem has a solution"

"Fine, you sit here and look for the solution, I am going" and she walked towards the door, Arnav stared at her, why he heck was she the one who was always dismissing him? Well, not this time, this time he would dismiss her.

"Khushi Singh Raizada, where are you going?"

"It's GUPTA, KHUSHI GUPTA, and where I am going is where you cant go"

"Where are you going?"

"To meet Cam"

"WHAT THE f**k? Why are you going to meet him?"

"Er, Husband he doesnt know where our house is, so I am going to go pick him up"

"I thought he was only coming for dinner tomorrow night?"

"Change of plans?"

"Wife, he is not staying here, I will not let him stay here"

"Fine, then book a hotel"

"Okay, which hotel would he like?"

"Who said he's staying at the hotel?"

"Then?"

"If you have a problem with him, you will stay at the hotel"

"Wife, are you in your right mind?"

"Always, you're the one who seems to have a problem"

"Dont test my patience"

"When you dont have it, how can I test it?"

"Urgh, someone kill me"

"Why should someone kill you, when I am right here?"

"Just leave wife"

"I was leaving anyways, you disturbed me"

"SHUTUP AND LEAVE"

But before Khushi could leave, an idea clicked into Arnav's mind and he called out to her,

"Wife, come here"

Khushi walked up to him,

"Yes?"

Arnav put his arms around her waist and pulled her closer,

"You're lessons are still pending, but how about I give you a lesson for a change?"

"My lessons are pending because of you, you're the one who's always..."

Her sentence was left incomplete as Arnav covered her lips with his own, Khushi gasped at the sudden invasion, giving Arnav a chance to deepen the kiss, Khushi wound her hands in his hair, tugging at it and pulling him closer, Arnav pulled away,

"That wife is my lesson, a wife should alway kiss her husband goodbye"

"I will definately remember that but you husband have a memory problem"

"Me, how so?"

"Forgot lesson 1 already? Never pull away before I do" and with that she pulled him back and started kissing him.

Khushi broke away from the kiss, Arnav was in daze, man she was good, too good, if it went on like this for a few more days he would lose all self-control, seeing Khushi pull away from him, Arnav held her waist tighter and pulled her closer,

"Now, its my turn to practice what I learned and for you to apply what you teach"

And once again covered her lips with his own.

Arnav kissed her until Khushi was out of breath and her eyes filled with passion, Arnav pulled back, if he kissed her any longer he would have to take her then and there.

The kiss had robbed Khushi of all her thoughts, it was filled with a urgency she had never known Arnav had possessed,

Arnav folded his arms and stared as Khushi regained her control,

"You may now leave wife" and he headed towards the washroom.

Khushi looked stunned, Arnav had just played a game with her, he had dismissed her, when it was her who always dismissed him, but today, urgh!

"Husband, you will pay for this, you will"

Arnav smirked, that had been easy, he had finally shown his wife her place, Arnav Singh Raizada was never dismissed, he always dismissed people"

"Wife, I think I dismissed you about 1 minute ago?, Why are you still here?"

"You will pay husband, you will, wait and watch"

"Oh, I will, now let me have a shower, you should leave"

Khushi turned around to leave when Arnav's statement made her turn, "Thats twice I've dismissed you now wife in a span of less then 2 minutes, being Arnav Singh Raizada sure has its quirks"

"This isnt over husband"

"Round 4 goes to me"

"Remember, what I said? Like start, like end!"

Arnav was in a bright mood today, despite how the morning had started it had ended very well, all was going in his favor today.

He entered his cabin with a smile on his face, before he could sit down, his phone rang,

"Hello"

"Husband, bad news for you, Cam's going to stay with us for 2 days, he wants be there before I go for my honeymoon"

"WHAT THE f**k?, You have got to be kidding me"

"I dont make jokes where it concerns you husband, you do turn a jolly mood into a sour one, no chance for jokes"

"This is for the morning right?"

"The famous business tycoon finally using his brain?"

"Just a straight yes or no"

"How about both?"

"Wife, do not worsen my already spoilt mood"

"No, because this was all Cam's idea, and Yes because I agree as I know how much you love him"

"I will mince him up and feed him to the hens"

"Hens dont eat meat"

"How about I eat him myself?"

"You hate him"

"Since, you seem to be so in love with him, why dont you have him?"

"Sure, him for lunch and then later you for dinner" and she hung up.

Arnav stared at the phone in his hand, that daft woman was doing it all purposely, urgh, he would have to bear that darned man for 2 whole days, 48 freaking hours, and all because he was teaching his wife a lesson!

Khushi smirked as she hung up, revenge was surely sweet.

She looked at Cam who was sitting right next to her, and hi-fied him

"How did he react?"

"Just the way I predicted"

"Why does he hate me so much sweetheart?"

"I've told him quite a few things to make him jealous"

"Why would he be jealous of me?"

"You're a good kisser"

"Sweetheart, I have heard a lot about Raizada and if there is one thing I know about him, he is the god of these things, why be jealous of me?"

"Cam, every man likes to hear that from his wife, but when his own wife tells him you are better then him, a bruised ego is bound to be there"

"Sweetheart, why these games?"

"Because I have one month to make him my ideal husband and heal his wounds and you know Khushi Gupta always wins a challenge"

"Didnt anyone warn him not to marry you?"

"He doesnt listen to anyone"

"A perfect match, I must say"

"Shutup CAM"

Arnav was tired, he had tried to spend as much time possible at work, so he wouldnt have to come home to see Cam, and in doing so, it had become 1, hopefully everyone would be asleep and he would sneak in and go to bed.

As soon as he entered the house, he saw a light in the dining area, and groaned, no, not after him trying so hard not to see him, he couldnt be awake, he walked towards the dining room to see Khushi sitting there with her head on the table, sound asleep and phone clutched in one hand. A smile graced his face, she had waited for him.

Suddenly he felt guilty, if she had waited for him, that meant she was hungry, and it was already 1, he cursed himself for keeping her waiting for so long. He rushed to her side and shook her,

"Wife, wake up"

Khushi opened her eyes to see Arnav standing infront of her, a smile graced her lips as well, she got up and stood,

"Very late today"

"Sorry, got caught up in work"

"Let me heat the food"

"Where's your beloved?"

"Husband, I have already mentioned this before, dinner is the only meal we share together alone, and for no reason what so ever, revenge or no revenge, fight or no fight, will this ever change"

"I am glad we got that cleared"

"Yes, and next time you decide to be late to avoid Cam, remember I am waiting for you"

"Next time, you decide to invite Cam, just tell me he wont be there at dinner, and I'll be here before you can complain"

"I'll heat the food"

Khushi walked out of the bathroom, today had been a long day and she was tired,

Arnav stared at Khushi, where in the name of God had she got that?

Khushi was wearing a knee-length nightdress, it was sleevless and semi-transparent and made Arnav's mouth go dry.

"Wife, are you planning on killing me and having it with Cam?"

"Well, since you're not making any move to have it with me, I thought why not seduce Cam?"

"Nice idea, but what happened to your one month no touching clause?"

"Since, when did Arnav Singh Raizada start agreeing to my clauses?"

"Since, my wife has started giving me incomplete lessons"

"Wait, for our honeymoon husband, everything will be complete except this dress, it will be very incomplete or absent" and with that she headed towards the closet and took out a long robe and wore it,

"This husband is the complete nightgown, dont jump to conclusions"

"With you wife everything is possible, so I have to think and voice my thoughts before your actions"

"Coming to bed?"

"Yes"

"And like always you did not bring the blanket?"

"I was busy"

"Busy or does a blanket cost too much?"

"Busy, wife, just busy"

Arnav got into bed and pulled the blanket over himself as Khushi glared at him with her hands on her hips,

"You will never buy a blanket will you?"

"Squash in" and he lifted the blanket, Khushi's anger melted away as she got into the blanket alongside Arnav,

"Now, isnt this better then having two blankets?"

"This will only be better when you become my ideal husband"

"Not happening"

"Then till then this is not better or even nice or even good"

He put his arms around her waist and pulled her closer,

"How about this?"

"Are you becoming by ideal husband by this?"

"I thought ideal husbands did do this?"

"No, this is not better"

Khushi put her head on his chest and snuggled into him, Arnav smiled,

"I'll buy the blanket soon"

"The day you buy it, I will not be here"

"Then thats never happening"

"I hope so too"

"Goodnight Wife"

"Goodnight Husband"

And Arnav and Khushi slept in the comfort of each other.

Devi Maiyya gave a sad chuckle, "Enjoy the comfort tonight boy, because tomorrow will be a very bad day for you, you will meet the one person you have a lot of competition with, and even I hope so Khushi Raizada, your husband never buys that blanket or you may become Khushi Gupta very soon"
