I haven't written much on this forum, but I have been watching the show from its 1st episode.

There are somethings that I don't like in this show and some that I do. Its 50-50 for now.

I do like Vik-Sugni pair. So, that's about me about the show.

Now on to my thoughts -

1. Though I want Vik-Sugni pair, I thought the confession itself came about too fast. Wish it was built up properly, but then again, I feel like since they had to scrap a lot of content from their original plan, they had nothing else to write/show and hence this hurried confession. Anyway, the confession and Varun with the confession was too good. It was very simple and the best I liked was that they tied in everything from the beginning. Generally in a confession, they confess the feelings and move on to the next. But in this they made him say everything what he felt from day 1 he saw Sugni. There was nothing left out for viewer's to discuss when exactly Vikram might have really fallen in love. We had the answer so that there is no ambiguity about his feelings in the viewer's mind.

2. What is the reason for Adi to turn around so quickly? Until a week back, he couldn't even stand the sight of any bedni at his home or even outside. Yday he travelled along with Sugni in the goat filled tempo-traveller. Okay, that was his need. But today, he is ready to throw in a challenge? Maybe he thought she wouldn't win, but why was he even talking? Surprised to see him being civil with Sugni!

From 1 & 2, I get the 3rd thought, which is -

3. They seem to be making both the guys fall in love with Sugni and hence Adi's today's challenge to Sugni. This is the beginning of his interactions with Sugni, which later would lead him to realize what Sugni really is and would make him fall in love with her.

4. Now, is Vikram going to realize Adi has also fallen in love with Sugni and also realize that Adi is best suited for Sugni due to age and sacrifice his love so that Adi-Sugni can be together?

5. Are the writers here trying to keep the original plan still intact with a slight twist - where in, Vik will realize or is made to realize (panchayat) that he is a Thakur and she is a bedni and their match can never happen in the society they live and the only possible choice given to him where he can have any relation with a bedni is via the Sardhakai and hence Vik does Sugni's Sardhakai, which is something Sugni doesn't expect. Would this lead Sugni to hate Vik and make her love Adi when she realizes Adi too loves her (ofcourse via their several interactions, she too comes to know that he isn't bad)?

I like Amrita too and since Adi doesn't seem to have accepted to marry Amrita by any pressure, it would be really bad if Adi falls for Sugni with Amrita still in his life. For this, I would dislike if Amrita's character is either turned negative or killed by the writers to suit Adi-Sug pairing.

In addition to all that we also have Gulabiya's unexplained concerns about Vik. Are those for any real reason or are the writers just trying to show us that Gulabiya's 6th sense/ intuition doesn't approve of Vik as he is not Sugni's ultimate destination?

Finally, all I want to say - why don't they just keep Vik-Sug pairing and Adi-Amrita, and not complicate with triangular love stories? 😃

Good thoughts Bee. Any of the above scenario is possible, who knows what's on CVs minds? However, if they continue to make Adi dumb, i would say Sugni is better off with Vikram, age difference or not. Even if Adi were to start being nice and understanding to Sugni, he is no match for her intelligence and quick wit. She will face many obstacles in life, both in the village and also in Delhi. So she should have someone mature, worldly-wise and street-wise to guide her. Many girls like men who wield power and authority with ease, why doesn't Sugni? Life would be much easier.😊

Awesome post. I think, zeetv is determined to do what it is has done so well and that is to destroy a perfectly good show to please someone who has not taste of what works. Zeetv also holds on to gissa pitta forumlas rather than take the plunge to do something new and innovative as it is currently doing with this jodi (forget the age difference and look at the characters).

I believe they will do as you suggest - they will ruin the whole show with this garbage idea and along with TVS ruin Amrita's character and make a romantic pair out of Sugni and Aditya. I have noted that there are one too many scenes with them this week and no development of the Sugni Vikram romance while the promos are sending another message.

Plus Gulabiya is not happy for her daughter so that there is a red flag. If the jodi does not work out and Amrita gets all negative or they kill off her character, this show will not be worth watcing and if I do watch it just to see what happens, believe me, I will be trashing it from here to kingdom come. I hope others will join me so the CVs know how upset we are with they once again ruining a perfectly good show.

It is much easier to watch a show when we know what to expect rather than have this confusion through out and then the confusion only to be growing episode by episode.

Wait a min, I hope they aren't getting the TRPs due to viewer's tuning into watch hoping to clear their confusion and left thinking maybe next week the confusion would be cleared, only to be repeated all over again every week? 😆

Vikram has confessed, tomorrow even Sugni will confess, then what more is left in the show? 😆

A lot - just because the have confessed how they leave does not mean they are going to be able to get married. Too many people are going to make it impossible. And if she does get married - it's going to bring with it a whole set of other problems. Plus as the wife of a rich man, Sugni can start making changes. She can create other means of employment for the women, and perhaps allow them to dance - start a dance school, have them do perfomances elsewhere rather than just the takhurs where they forced to sell themselves for their surivial etc. Her marriage will hopefully inspire others in the village to think differently.

Plus the two leads are awesome and every scene with them is delicious to watch that we just keep wanting more.

After a long time, I am seeing you so interested in a show and I hope they don't destroy this show atleast for your sake. 😊

I see that this show is Zee's baby as much as it is of the PH's. From the changes done it is so far clear that they are very much aware that majority here want Vik-Sug pairing.

The only reason they had to show a car-driving challenge and a driver's work for Sugni is only so they could explain Adi's presence with Sugni?! And hence increase Adi's interactions with Sugni?! Oh Why o why? When they have a actor like Varun , why do they need anyone?😆 Varun-Gulki together can eat away every other character in their scenes. 😆 They need to just concentrate on Vik-Sug. Adi falling in love with Sug with Amrita still present would really look bad.
