My heart broke along with that of Bani's yesterday and her silence is terrifying me to no ends. Its so apparent that this girl is so in love with her husband but fate has dealt such a cruel blow to her that she is unable to apprehend all the happenings in the correct sequence precisely. I wouldn't have understood frankly if I was in her place either.
One thing she is sure about is that her consummation with Jai was not a forced or coerced one. She realizes the love of her husband in that moment and as such, she is willing to spend her entire life basking in the love, warmth and glory of that particular night. But, she also realizes that Jai is chiefly responsible for her mother's death (I don't really blame her for this) and that its very difficult for her to reconcile herself with her husband. It was so heart wrenching to see her eyes brimming with tears when she realizes that the person she hates the most also happens to be the person she loves the most. What irony!
Coming to Rano, I am going to give her a big hug for at least trying to reunite her Didi with her Jeeju, and also taking Saahil's help. The scene where both Rano and Saahil hands over their respective cell phones to Bani and Jai, without letting the couple know about the switch, just touched my little heart and again I felt a constriction (I think I will have to visit a heart specialist, if I continue seeing KS). I just loved the way Jai realized it was Bani on the other end of the line even when she had not spoken a single word, was so poignant. It just reflected how much the two of them are attuned to each other. And Jai's words that followed were so sweet and he was at his emotive best. Thank God, he didn't speak anything about the baby, right there right then. The scene depicted how this lovelorn yet battle-fatigued couple was trying to reach out to each other. Some of you may not agree about Bani's stance, but she could have easily switched off the phone. She remained silent throughout Jai's conversation and let her eyes speak volumes. Only if Jai could have seen her somehow, sigh!!! And wow, how Jai told Saahil that once again, Bani's silence has conveyed all her answers to him.
And I loved Rano when she chided Bani slightly for not talking to Jai, even though its so apparent from her eyes, her body language and her tears that she loved her husband like mad. I think when both Rano and Pia comes to know about the truth about their mother's death, it will be Rano who will probably behave in a far more mature person because she happens to have witnessed Jai's concern for Bani when Bani left the house without informing anyone. Don't know about Pia. Does she understand her Di? Can't she see the love in her Di's eyes for Jai even after everything that has happened and she has the gall to call those feelings as sympathy? I don't understand her anymore. Maybe because she still thinks herself to be the centre of the entire state of affairs and refuses to acknowledge the shift of focus of Jai's attention, love and care to Bani?
Now Jai, what's cooking? Suddenly, you have handed over most of the projects on which you were working to Ranveer (who has already started playing foul) and to Saahil and Rano. He's a smart cookie and he's trying desperately to win over Rano's confidence. And he has Aditya by his side. I am sure he's got something up his sleeves. And he looks so damn good and s*** when he wears black. KILL ME!!!
Liked Anu's approach in dealing with Jigs, couldn't stop myself from smiling when Ranveer left his mother's room in a huff after Jigs agreed to go to Pia's house for the pagphera rasam on Anu's insistence. Now, what is Ranveer upto? What did he make Jai sign on? I am feeling screechy about that.
And Jai, he was behaving like a kid jumping up and down, and behaving impatiently efore going to Pia's house for Rano's rasam. I think he doesn't even realize he's going to Pia's house, he is so worked up with the idea of getting an opportunity to meet his wife. Oh God, he was just plain adorable. And I love dit when he asked Raashi to accompany them to Pia's house, even if Ranveer was not going. Way to go Jai, I am just waiting for you to unravel your magic spells not only on your darling wife, but also on us poor being, whose days begins and ends with you.
