Preeti Chaudary plays the female lead in Kairi Rishta Khatta Meetha. In the serial, she is in an arranged marriage and is seeking her husband's love. She is also in a constant fight for her rights with her mother-in-law. She has a positive aura around her. Jai Bhanushali plays her husband in the serial and he is a typical mamma's boy.

It is a sweet and spicy story blended with real-life moments and a lot of emotion that defines the relationship between Preeti and her mother-in-law. "My mother-in-law is very authoritative and protective about her son. She always seeks an emotional attachment with her son," Preeti said.

A UP girl who studied in Delhi, Preeti always wanted to be an actor. She adores Shah Rukh Khan and if given a chance she would love to act in Bollywood. "It's always about getting a chance, so it's always a yes to Bollywood," she said. Preeti also loves to be in reality shows and finds the format a lot of fun.
Preeti said, "I am totally committed to Kairi Rishta Khatta Meetha. We have halka fulka fun at work as we don't get time to do any masti because of our busy schedules."
