Just saw the episode an interesting one indeed. I love court katcheri, whodunit, Perry Mason diraama. Today K's lawyer made Abhi look like a lemon lawyerwa.
What was Abhi thinking? He saw the report and it clearly stated COD was strangulation. He shares it with Shamu who's shifting like he might shudder a bit. Tam's sweating bullets and shifting in his seat. Abhi gives him a strange look when he starts to ask questions..."will K be freed if the objects used in crime are not found"? A fair question but Abhi was watching Tam for a few minutes as he continues to speak without tipping his criminal hand to Shamu or the lawyer. Abhi is hell bent on nailing K...what's his beef with K and the Takurs? Abhi gives Tam a strange look as he rambles on. Who gave this dude his law license? 😡 Innocent until proven guilty is not the way he practices law, he's as thirsty to nail K as Tam.
KN is behaving like a responsible head of the household and wants to know if reports are in. Yes they are, and Prats tells him... to stay home and watch over SS while she meets with K's lawyer. In the cell, Kriya console and draw strength from each other.
Lawyer gets K's version of the events on the day of the crime. K says he saw Adarsh lying on the floor and grabbed the pole out. Lawyer is confident that the report findings will help K.
Order, order...judge presiding and Abhi has the burden to prove K is the killer. He presents his opening statement before the judge. He averts the report's finding and launches into a speech on the Takurs and their criminal lives... points to SS, KN with a criminal record and even how K forcibly married Prats etc. The case is clear as water, he said, that it's K who in his rage went after Adarsh and killed him. What a passionate speech😛, only problem it didnt' address the evidence of the case.
K's lawyer took a couple of shots at Abhi and said rather than look at the evidence opposing counsel was talking Takur family story👏. He pointed that Prats is standing by K today and they lub each other. He reminds the court there have never been a conviction against K in the past and doesn't automatically make him a criminal.
He addressed the case on hand. It's true K stormed out with a gun after he saw his sister had been battered and thrown out by Adarsh after he brutally beat her. Any bro would get angry. But if K took a gun with the intention to shoot Adarsh why didn't he use it?👏 The report finds Adarsh was strangled to death. Arusia's looking conphused😔Shamu's eyes are shifting🤔 and he looks like he's on the verge of vibration. Tam is chewing his nails nervously. Komal is looking confused😕, maybe even doubtful for a moment. Are there doubts creeping into their minds now? If it doesn't they are just prejudiced lot wanting to convict K.
Abhi acted like a fruitcake lawyer with no leg to stand on. His response to K's lawyer's statement to the court was rather odd. What evidence does he have that he's so sure he can convict K? 😕
Arusia questions Tam about a new key tag he purchased when she can't locate his keys. When Adarsh was run over by Jai Mathur it was his bracelet that gave it away, will Tam's keyfob raise doubts in Arusia's mind?
The Saxes have preached about "Sachchai ka saat dena" all their lives. Let's see if they really want to know the truth or just want to find a scapegoat to hang out to dry in K. Too soon to put in that order for five orders of jumbo humble pies for each adult in GH (and a special one for Abhi) after Tam is carted off to his final destination. Mostly likely by the end of this week or sometime next week seems more like it.
Your thoughts on court katcheri today!🤗
